甘肃工业职业技术大学坐落于羲皇故里甘肃省天水市，是整合原甘肃工业职业技术学院和原甘肃机电职业技术学院办学资源，经教育部批准设置的公办本科层次职业技术大学，是教育部国防教育特色学校、国家级高技能人才培训基地、教育部第二批现代学徒制试点单位、甘肃省优质高等职业院校、省双高A档建设单位，先后获得国家优质高等职业院校、全国创新创业50强典型经验高校、全国职业院校产教融合50强高校、甘肃省黄炎培职业教育奖等荣誉。

Gansu Vocational and Technical University of Industry is located in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, the hometown of Emperor Fuxi. It is a public undergraduate vocational and technical university approved by the Ministry of Education by integrating the educational resources of the former Gansu Polytechnic College and the former Gansu Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. It is a characteristic school of national defense education of the Ministry of Education, a national high-skilled talent training base, the second batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education, a high-quality higher vocational college in Gansu Province, and a provincial double-high A-level construction unit. It has successively won the titles of National High-quality Higher Vocational College, National Top 50 Typical Experience Colleges for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, National Top 50 Colleges for Industry-Education Integration in Vocational Colleges, and Gansu Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award.

学校现有全日制在校生17814人，专任教师999人。专任教师有高级职称人员303人，硕士521人，博士25人，双师型教师509人。国家级技能大师工作室2个，教育部新时代职业学校名匠1人，省级教学团队5个，省级职业教育教师教学创新团队7个，省级教学名师2人，省级名师工作室9个，省级技能大师工作室4个，省技术能手11人，省级技艺技能传承创新工作室5个，教师获甘肃省园丁奖4人、高校青年教师成才奖6人。学校占地面积1673.92亩，校园建筑面积52.90万平方米，教学科研仪器设备值2.72亿元，图书208.42万册。建设国家级数控技术生产性实训基地等校内实习实训基地188个、校外实习实训基地124个。牵头成立了全国集成电路封测行业产教融合共同体、全国地勘行业核技术应用产教融合共同体、全国半导体显示行业产教融合共同体、甘肃电子信息行业产教融合共同体和天水市文旅康养市域产教联合体，先后成立华天产业学院、锻压产业学院、三和数码产业学院、快印客产业学院、奥迪产业学院。

The university currently has 17,814 full-time students and 999 full-time teachers. Among the full-time teachers, there are 303 with senior professional titles, 521 with master's degrees, 25 with doctoral degrees, and 509 double-qualified teachers. There are 2 national skill master studios, 1 famous craftsman in vocational schools in the new era of the Ministry of Education, 5 provincial teaching teams, 7 provincial vocational education teacher teaching innovation teams, 2 provincial teaching masters, 9 provincial famous teacher studios, 4 provincial skill master studios, 11 provincial technical experts, and 5 provincial skill inheritance and innovation studios. Teachers have won 4 Gansu Provincial Gardener Awards and 6 College Young Teachers Talent Awards. The university covers an area of 1,673.92 mu, with a campus building area of 529,000 square meters, teaching and research equipment worth 272 million yuan, and 2.0842 million books. It has built 188 on-campus internship and training bases such as the national numerical control technology productive training base and 124 off-campus internship and training bases. It has taken the lead in establishing the National Industry-Education Integration Community for Integrated Circuit Packaging and Testing Industry, the National Industry-Education Integration Community for Nuclear Technology Application in Geological Exploration Industry, the National Industry-Education Integration Community for Semiconductor Display Industry, the Gansu Electronic Information Industry-Education Integration Community, and the Tianshui Cultural Tourism and Health Care City-Level Industry-Education Consortium. It has successively established Huatian Industry College, Forging Industry College, Sanhe Digital Industry College, Quick Print Customer Industry College, and Audi Industry College.

学校首批开设机械设计制造及自动化、电气工程及自动化、测绘工程技术、资源勘查工程技术、现代分析测试技术等5个本科专业。现有国家级骨干专业4个、省级特色骨干专业11个，省级高水平专业群3个、省级课程思政示范专业6个，开发国家级在线精品课1门、省级在线精品课21门，获批建设国家级教学资源库2个、国家级虚拟仿真实训基地1个；获省级教学成果奖一等奖3项；建设职业教育教材57部，其中国家规划教材3部，省级规划教材2部。建校以来，学校先后培养14万余名高素质技术技能型人才，毕业生就业率常居全省前列，用人单位满意度高，学校入选全国高校毕业生就业能力培训基地、甘肃省大学生就业工作示范性高校。

The university initially offers 5 undergraduate majors, including Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, Electrical Engineering and Automation, Surveying and Mapping Engineering Technology, Resource Exploration Engineering Technology, and Modern Analytical Testing Technology. It currently has 4 national-level key majors, 11 provincial-level characteristic key majors, 3 provincial-level high-level professional groups, and 6 provincial-level curriculum ideological and political demonstration majors. It has developed 1 national-level online boutique course and 21 provincial-level online boutique courses, and has been approved to build 2 national-level teaching resource databases and 1 national-level virtual simulation training base. It has won 3 first prizes of provincial teaching achievement awards and has constructed 57 vocational education textbooks, including 3 national planning textbooks and 2 provincial planning textbooks. Since its establishment, the university has cultivated more than 140,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents. The employment rate of graduates has always been at the forefront of the province, and the satisfaction of employers is high. The university has been selected as a national training base for college graduates' employment ability and a demonstration university for college students' employment work in Gansu Province.
