广西工程职业学院创办于2006年，2007年正式招生，是经广西壮族自治区人民政府批准设立、教育部核准备案，面向全国招生的一所以理工科为主的全日制普通高等学校。学校现有南宁、平果两个校区，占地面积近1800亩，校舍建筑总面积35万平方米，全日制在校生20000多人，教职工1000多人。

Guangxi Engineering Vocational College was founded in 2006 and officially enrolled students in 2007. It is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education, mainly focusing on science and engineering and enrolling students nationwide. The college has two campuses in Nanning and Pingguo, covering an area of nearly 1800 mu with a total building area of 350,000 square meters. It has more than 20,000 full-time students and over 1,000 faculty members.

学校设有马克思主义学院、土木工程学院、汽车与机电学院等9个二级学院，开设有建设工程管理、高速铁路客运服务等39个招生专业，其中工程造价、建筑工程技术等5个专业为广西高校重点建设专业。教学科研仪器设备总值15875.2万元，图书总册数254.28万册，建有7个校内实验实训中心、3个专业教学工厂及174个校外实践教学基地。

The college has 9 secondary colleges including the School of Marxism, School of Civil Engineering, School of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering, offering 39 enrollment majors such as Construction Project Management and High-Speed Railway Passenger Service. Among them, 5 majors including Engineering Cost and Construction Engineering Technology are key construction majors in Guangxi colleges and universities. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 158.752 million yuan, with a total of 2.5428 million books. It has 7 on-campus experimental training centers, 3 professional teaching factories and 174 off-campus practical teaching bases.

近年来，学校获得职业教育国家级教学成果二等奖1项，广西职业教育自治区级教学成果一等奖1项，学生参加各类竞赛获奖700多项，取得专利等科技服务地方特色成果100多项，先后荣获广西普通高校毕业生就业工作突出单位、自治区森林校园等90多项荣誉，目前正积极申报本科层次职业大学。

In recent years, the college has won 1 second prize of national teaching achievements in vocational education and 1 first prize of autonomous region-level teaching achievements in Guangxi vocational education. Students have won more than 700 awards in various competitions and obtained more than 100 scientific and technological service achievements with local characteristics such as patents. It has successively won more than 90 honors including Outstanding Unit for Employment Work of College Graduates in Guangxi and Autonomous Region Forest Campus, and is currently actively applying for undergraduate-level vocational university.
