广西警察学院是广西壮族自治区人民政府举办的普通高等本科院校，由自治区公安厅主管，教育教学业务接受自治区教育厅指导。学校前身为1950年1月成立的中共广西省委社会部政训队，历经广西省公安学校、广西公安干部学校、广西政法公安学校、广西政法干部学校、广西人民警察学校和广西公安管理干部学院等发展阶段，2003年改制为广西警官高等专科学校，2015年升格为广西警察学院，2018年广西政法管理干部学院并入广西警察学院。

Guangxi Police College is a public undergraduate institution of higher education run by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is administered by the Public Security Department of the Autonomous Region and its educational and teaching operations are guided by the Education Department of the Autonomous Region. The college traces its roots back to the Political Training Team of the Social Department of the CPC Guangxi Provincial Committee, established in January 1950. It has undergone several developmental stages, including Guangxi Provincial Public Security School, Guangxi Public Security Cadre School, Guangxi Political and Legal Public Security School, Guangxi Political and Legal Cadre School, Guangxi People's Police School, and Guangxi Public Security Management Cadre College. In 2003, it was restructured into Guangxi Police Officer Junior College, upgraded to Guangxi Police College in 2015, and merged with Guangxi Political and Legal Management Cadre College in 2018.

学校有仙葫、五合、长湖3个校区及北海训练基地，占地面积1570余亩，校舍建筑面积47.395万平方米，教学行政用房面积17.11万平方米。教学科研仪器设备总值10265.85万元，图书馆馆藏纸质图书158.93万册、电子图书83.22万册。现有教职工935人，其中专任教师556人，开设28个本科专业，涵盖法学、工学、管理学、文学、艺术学5个学科门类，有国家级一流本科课程2门、自治区级一流本科课程16门、自治区级一流本科专业建设点7个，广西重点学科2个。学校秉承“德才育人、忠勇铸魂”校训精神，累计向全区各级政法机关和相关行业输送合格毕业生9万余人，培训在职民警、政法干部、律师等10万多人次，被誉为“八桂警官的摇篮”“法律人才的沃土”。

The college has three campuses (Xianhu, Wuhe, and Changhu) and a training base in Beihai, covering an area of over 1,570 mu. The total building area is 473,950 square meters, with 171,100 square meters dedicated to teaching and administrative use. The total value of teaching and research equipment is 102.6585 million yuan. The library houses 1.5893 million paper books and 832,200 e-books. There are 935 faculty members, including 556 full-time teachers. The college offers 28 undergraduate programs spanning five disciplines: Law, Engineering, Management, Literature, and Art. It boasts 2 national first-class undergraduate courses, 16 autonomous region-level first-class undergraduate courses, 7 autonomous region-level first-class undergraduate program construction sites, and 2 key disciplines in Guangxi. Upholding the motto of "Cultivating Talents with Virtue and Talent, Forging Souls with Loyalty and Courage", the college has cultivated over 90,000 qualified graduates for political and legal organs at all levels and related industries in the region, and trained more than 100,000 in-service police officers, political and legal cadres, and lawyers. It is hailed as "the Cradle of Bagui Police Officers" and "the Fertile Soil for Legal Talents".
