贵州轻工职业大学是一所公办本科层次职业院校，其前身是创建于1977年的贵州省轻工业学校和1979年的贵州省二轻工业学校。2004年两校合并组建贵州轻工职业技术学院，历经国家优质校、中国特色高水平高职院校建设，2025年经教育部批准升格为职业本科大学。学校地处贵安新区科技新城，占地1800余亩，建筑面积39.46万平方米，形成以"酒·画·数"为特色，覆盖食品工程技术、工艺美术、大数据工程技术等5个职业本科专业及25个高职专业的办学体系。

Guizhou Light Industry Vocational University is a public undergraduate vocational college, evolved from Guizhou Light Industry School (founded 1977) and Guizhou Second Light Industry School (founded 1979). Merged into Guizhou Light Industry Vocational and Technical College in 2004, it was upgraded to an undergraduate vocational university in 2025 after being recognized as a National High-quality Vocational College and a China特色高水平 Vocational College. Located in Gui'an New District's Technology New Town, the 1,800-acre campus with 394,600㎡ construction area features a "wine-painting-digital" specialty system, including 5 undergraduate programs (Food Engineering Technology, Arts and Crafts, Big Data Engineering, etc.) and 25 vocational programs.

学校师资力量雄厚，拥有国家级教学创新团队6个，其中国家级大数据技术教师教学创新团队1个，酿酒技术团队获贵州省工人先锋号。现有国家级大师工作室、黔匠工坊共9个，一批教师荣获全国优秀教师、黄炎培职业教育奖等荣誉。依托与茅台集团、中软国际等企业的深度合作，建成国家级虚拟仿真实训基地1个、开放实训基地2个，牵头成立全国大数据、酱酒行业产教融合共同体，近五年学生获国家级技能竞赛奖项94项。

The university boasts strong faculty with 6 national-level teaching innovation teams (including 1 for Big Data Technology) and 9 national/provincial master studios. Its Wine-Making Technology team was awarded Guizhou Provincial Worker Vanguard. Notable faculty honors include National Excellent Teachers and Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards. Through deep collaboration with industry leaders like Moutai Group and Neusoft, it has built 1 National Virtual Simulation Training Base and 2 Open Training Bases, leading national industry-education integration consortia for big data and sauce wine sectors. Students have won 94 national awards in skill competitions over the past five years.

作为贵州省首批国际交流合作示范校，学校设有中外合作办学机构，与新西兰、泰国等国院校开展"中文+技能+文化"融合教学，2025年在泰国建立"贵匠工坊"，推动黔茶制作、新能源汽车技术等特色课程国际化。学校先后入选全国创新创业典型经验高校、国家优质专科高职院校等，秉承"文化浸润技术，理想托起技能"育人理念，致力于培养服务贵州区域经济的高素质技术技能人才。

As a pioneer in international exchange among Guizhou's vocational colleges, it operates Sino-foreign cooperative education programs with institutions in New Zealand and Thailand, implementing "Chinese Language + Skills + Culture" integrated teaching. The 2025-established "Guizhou Craftsman Workshop" in Thailand promotes internationalization of特色 courses like Guizhou tea processing and new energy vehicle technology.
