广西体育高等专科学校地处广西首府绿城南宁，是自治区人民政府主办、自治区体育局主管的全日制高等专科学校，是广西高水平高职学校和高水平专业建设单位（双高校建设单位），全区职业教育三全育人典型学校，自治区文明校园、绿色学校、节水型高校。现有全日制学生14500余人，有公园路校区、相思湖校区2个校区，校园面积约500亩。

Guangxi Sports College is located in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, known as the "Green City". It is a full-time higher vocational college sponsored by the Autonomous Region People's Government and administered by the Autonomous Region Sports Bureau. It is a high-level vocational school and high-level major construction unit (double-high construction unit) in Guangxi, a typical school for three-full education in vocational education in the region, and an autonomous region-level civilized campus, green school, and water-saving university. It has more than 14,500 full-time students and two campuses: Gongyuan Road Campus and Xiangsihu Campus, covering an area of approximately 500 mu.

学校办学历史悠久，前身是1956年成立的广西体育干部学校，历经多次发展变迁，于1994年正式更名为广西体育高等专科学校。学校师资队伍精良，现有教师483人，其中博士生导师1人，博士10人，正高级职称23人（二级教授2人），副高职称教师109人，亚洲冠军和全国冠军教师11人，国际级和国家级裁判员21人。

The school has a long history, formerly known as Guangxi Sports Cadre School founded in 1956. After several development changes, it was officially renamed Guangxi Sports College in 1994. The school has an excellent faculty of 483 teachers, including 1 doctoral supervisor, 10 doctors, 23 with senior professional titles (2 second-level professors), 109 with associate senior professional titles, 11 teachers who are Asian or national champions, and 21 international and national referees.

办学特色鲜明，形成了立足体育本色、服务人民健康、培养高素质技术技能人才的办学定位，先后涌现出李宁、吴数德、农群华等奥运冠军、世界冠军，培养了10万多名体育教师、教练员及体育管理服务人才，被誉为“八桂体育人才的摇篮”。现设有8个教学单位，开设25个专业，其中体育教育、体育保健与康复专业群入选自治区高水平专业建设计划。

With distinct school-running characteristics, it has formed a school-running orientation based on sports essence, serving people's health, and cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents. It has successively produced Olympic champions and world champions such as Li Ning, Wu Shude, and Nong Qunhua, and has trained more than 100,000 physical education teachers, coaches, and sports management service talents, known as the "cradle of sports talents in Bagui". It currently has 8 teaching units and offers 25 majors, among which the physical education and sports health care and rehabilitation professional groups are included in the autonomous region's high-level professional construction plan.

内涵建设成果丰硕，近年来获国家级教学成果二等奖1项，自治区级教学成果特等奖2项、二等奖3项，拥有国家在线精品课程1门，牵头成立首个全国运动健康产教融合共同体，广西体育职业教育集团入选自治区示范性职教集团，体育健康产业学院入选广西高职教育示范性产业学院。

It has achieved fruitful results in connotation construction. In recent years, it has won 1 second prize of national teaching achievements, 2 special prizes and 3 second prizes of autonomous region-level teaching achievements, and has 1 national online quality course. It took the lead in establishing the first national sports health industry-education integration community. Guangxi Sports Vocational Education Group was selected as an autonomous region-level demonstration vocational education group, and the Sports Health Industry College was selected as a demonstration industry college of Guangxi higher vocational education.
