广西卫生职业技术学院是2010年经自治区人民政府批准成立，由广西卫生管理干部学院、广西药科学校、广西妇幼保健院附设卫生学校合并组建而成的国家公办全日制医药卫生类高职院校，其前身是1941年创建的广西省立医院护士助产学校，迄今已有八十多年的办学历史。学校作为广西新一轮高水平高职学校，护理、药学、临床医学专业群是广西新一轮高水平专业群。

Guangxi Health Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time medical and health vocational college approved by the Autonomous Region People's Government in 2010. It was formed by the merger of Guangxi Health Management Cadre College, Guangxi Pharmaceutical School, and the Health School Affiliated to Guangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Its predecessor was the Guangxi Provincial Hospital Nurse-Midwifery School founded in 1941, with a history of more than 80 years. As a new round of high-level vocational colleges in Guangxi, the college has nursing, pharmacy, and clinical medicine professional groups as the new round of high-level professional groups in Guangxi.

学校坐落于广西南宁市，现有昆仑校区和桃源校区两个校区，设有马克思主义学院、临床医学院、药学院、护理学院、医学技术学院、公共卫生与健康管理学院、中医学院、职业技能培训学院、医学基础部和公共基础部等教学单位。专业设置以医药卫生类为主，涵盖大健康产业，开设全日制高职专业31个。

Located in Nanning, Guangxi, the college has two campuses: Kunlun Campus and Taoyuan Campus. It has teaching units such as the School of Marxism, Clinical Medical College, School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, School of Medical Technology, School of Public Health and Health Management, School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vocational Skills Training College, Department of Medical Foundation, and Department of Public Foundation. The majors are mainly medical and health-related, covering the big health industry, with 31 full-time higher vocational majors.

学校以培养卫生健康类高素质技术技能专门人才作为办学根本任务；坚持“以人为本，厚德尚能，质量为上，服务社会”的办学理念，以“质量立校、特色兴校、人才强校、文化彰校”为发展战略；以全日制普通高等职业教育为主体，职业培训（岗位技能培训）和科研技术服务改造（技术推广）培训为两翼，以服务学生德智体美劳全面发展，服务大众全生命周期健康、服务广西区域经济社会发展的“一体两翼三服务”为办学思路。

The college takes cultivating high-quality technical and skilled professionals in health as its fundamental task. It adheres to the school-running philosophy of "people-oriented, virtue and ability, quality first, and serving the society", and the development strategy of "quality-based school, characteristic school, talent-strengthening school, and culture彰校". With full-time ordinary higher vocational education as the main body, vocational training (post skill training) and scientific research and technical service transformation (technology promotion) training as the two wings, the school-running idea of "one body, two wings and three services" is to serve the all-round development of students' morality, intelligence, physical education, aesthetics and labor, serve the whole life cycle health of the public, and serve the regional economic and social development of Guangxi.

学校现有教职工516人，专任教师335人，其中二级教授1人、博士4人、在读博士6人、硕士147人，双师教师272人。有校内实训中心8个，实训室181间，建筑面积117259.8平方米。有国家级职业技能鉴定所一个，附属医院和药厂各一家，200多家遍布广西各地市的综合医院、药厂以及广州、深圳等地的医药卫生单位作为校外教学、实习基地。

The college has 516 faculty members, including 335 full-time teachers, among whom there is 1 second-level professor, 4 doctors, 6 doctoral students, 147 masters, and 272 double-qualified teachers. There are 8 on-campus training centers, 181 training rooms, with a construction area of 117,259.8 square meters. It has one national vocational skill appraisal institute, one affiliated hospital and one pharmaceutical factory, and more than 200 general hospitals, pharmaceutical factories in various cities in Guangxi, and medical and health units in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other places as off-campus teaching and internship bases.
