广西现代职业技术学院是1995年由河池地区教育学院（1978年成立）、广西河池民族工业中等专业学校（1984年成立）、广西广播电视大学河池地区民族分校（1984年成立）合并组建的公办全日制高等职业院校，坐落于广西河池市金城江区，是河池市唯一的高职院校。学校秉持“厚德强技，修行致远”校训，以“让每一个学生都走得更远”为办学理念，形成了以有色金属智能冶金技术、工业机器人技术2个高水平专业群为引领，辐射智慧建筑、无人机应用技术等7个校级专业群的“4221”专业布局，现有在校生15000余人，教职工797人，其中高级职称教师247人，双师型教师占专业课教师总数73%以上。

Guangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college established in 1995 through the merger of Hechi Regional Institute of Education (founded in 1978), Guangxi Hechi National Industrial Secondary Technical School (founded in 1984), and Hechi Regional National Branch of Guangxi Radio and Television University (founded in 1984). Located in Jinchengjiang District, Hechi City, Guangxi, it is the only higher vocational college in Hechi City. Adhering to the school motto of "Cultivating Morality and Strengthening Skills, Practicing for a Long Journey" and the educational philosophy of "Let every student go further", the college has formed a "4221" professional layout led by 2 high-level professional groups (Intelligent Metallurgy Technology of Nonferrous Metals and Industrial Robot Technology), radiating 7 school-level professional groups such as Smart Construction and UAV Application Technology. It currently has over 15,000 students and 797 faculty members, including 247 senior title teachers and over 73% of "double-qualified" teachers among professional course teachers.

学校建有工业机器人技术、冶金技术等8个广西一流实训基地，实验实训设备总值超5亿元，紧密对接区域产业需求深化产教融合，牵头成立广西冶金行业产教融合共同体，与广西盛隆冶金、华为等企业共建6个产业学院，实施“岗课赛证”融通育人模式。近年来荣获国家教学成果奖二等奖2项、广西教学成果奖特等奖2项，师生获国家级技能竞赛一等奖10项，连续11年获评广西高校毕业生就业工作先进单位，是全国职业院校数字校园建设试点单位、广西“双高”建设单位，被誉为“民族地区职业教育的典范”。

The college has built 8 Guangxi first-class training bases in fields such as Industrial Robot Technology and Metallurgical Technology, with experimental and training equipment worth over 500 million yuan. Closely aligning with regional industrial needs, it deepens industry-education integration by leading the establishment of the Guangxi Metallurgical Industry Industry-Education Integration Community and co-building 6 industrial colleges with enterprises like Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgy and Huawei. It implements the "post-course-competition-certificate" integrated education model. In recent years, it has won 2 second prizes of National Teaching Achievement Awards and 2 special prizes of Guangxi Teaching Achievement Awards, with teachers and students winning 10 first prizes in national skill competitions. For 11 consecutive years, it has been rated as an Advanced Unit for Graduate Employment Work in Guangxi Colleges and Universities. It is a national vocational college digital campus construction pilot unit and a Guangxi "Double High-Level" construction unit, known as "a model of vocational education in ethnic regions".
