广州华商学院（原广东财经大学华商学院）创办于2005年，2020年经教育部同意转设并更名为广州华商学院。学校是一所财经特色鲜明、多学科协调发展的全日制应用型本科高等学校，涵盖经、管、文、工、艺、教、理、医等多学科，现有广州和肇庆两个校区，校园占地面积一千六百多亩，在校学生32000多人。

Guangzhou Huashang College (formerly Huashang College of Guangdong University of Finance & Economics) was founded in 2005 and renamed Guangzhou Huashang College with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2020. It is a full-time application-oriented undergraduate university with distinctive financial characteristics and coordinated development of multiple disciplines, covering economics, management, literature, engineering, art, education, science, medicine and other disciplines. It has two campuses in Guangzhou and Zhaoqing, covering an area of more than 1,600 mu, with over 32,000 students.

学校现有国家一流专业建设点1个、省级重点学科2个、省级一流专业建设点6个、省级一流课程16门。2021年5月获批硕士学位授予立项建设单位，2022年5月获批广东省博士工作站新设站单位。学校由中国科学院院士陈新滋教授担任校长，诺贝尔化学奖得主Jean-Marie Lehn教授任荣誉校长，现有教师1400多人，具有高级职称教师占比32.79%，具有硕士、博士学位教师占比74.72%。

The university has 1 national first-class professional construction site, 2 provincial key disciplines, 6 provincial first-class professional construction sites, and 16 provincial first-class courses. In May 2021, it was approved as a master's degree granting project construction unit, and in May 2022, it was approved as a new station unit of Guangdong Provincial Doctoral Workstation. The university is headed by Professor Chen Xinzi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Jean-Marie Lehn, a Nobel laureate in Chemistry, as honorary president. There are more than 1,400 teachers, with 32.79% of them having senior professional titles and 74.72% having master's or doctoral degrees.
