Guizhou Vocational University of Communications is a public undergraduate-level理工类 vocational college with transportation as its特色. Founded in 1958, it has undergone the phases of "National Demonstrative School", "National Quality School", and "China Featured High-level Vocational College", and was upgraded to Guizhou Vocational University of Communications in 2024. The university covers an area of 1318 mu, with a total building area of nearly 490,000 square meters, and has more than 13,000 students. It has 11 teaching departments and offers more than 30 undergraduate and specialized majors, including 7 national-level key majors. 学校聚焦现代综合交通运输体系人才培养，重点打造道路桥梁工程技术和汽车运用与维修技术（西部山区智能交通）两个国家级高水平专业群，以“高原峡谷高桥技术之塔、交旅融合研学之塔”为标志，带动交通物流等专业群的协同发展，形成“双塔交辉、群雄拱卫”的专业特色布局。学校育人环境资源优质丰富，图书馆馆藏图书近200万册，建成国家级课程19门，拥有省级以上产教融合基地、协同创新中心、工程研究中心、重点实验室等15个。建有全国独具特色的卧龙山实体隧道、鲲鹏实训桥梁、喀斯特山地道路智能运输虚拟仿真实训中心等校内理实一体化教学场所和生产（经营）性实训基地195个，校外顶岗实习基地133个。

The university focuses on cultivating talents for the modern comprehensive transportation system, with a focus on building two national-level high-level professional groups: Road and Bridge Engineering Technology and Automobile Application and Maintenance Technology (Intelligent Transportation in Western Mountainous Areas). Marked by "the Tower of Plateau Canyon High Bridge Technology and the Tower of Transportation-Tourism Integration Research", it drives the coordinated development of professional groups such as transportation and logistics, forming a professional characteristic layout of "two towers shining together and a group of heroes surrounding". The university has high-quality and rich educational environment resources, with nearly 2 million books in the library collection, 19 national-level courses, and 15 provincial-level or above industry-education integration bases, collaborative innovation centers, engineering research centers, key laboratories, etc. It has built 195 on-campus integrated teaching places and production (operating) training bases with unique characteristics in the country, such as Wolongshan实体 tunnel, Kunpeng training bridge, and Karst mountain road intelligent transportation virtual simulation training center, as well as 133 off-campus internship bases.
