贵州警察学院是由贵州省人民政府主办，贵州省公安厅主管，贵州省教育厅负责业务管理，全省唯一的全日制政法公安类普通本科院校。学校前身是创建于1950年2月的贵州省人民政府公安干部学校，历经多次调整与发展，2017年5月经教育部批准升格为本科层次院校并定名贵州警察学院，2021年6月被增列为学士学位授予单位。学校位于贵阳市双龙航空港经济区，占地36.79万平方米，总建筑面积17.71万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值5736万余元，馆藏纸质图书82万余册，电子图书150万册，现有在校生4000余人，年均培训在职民警5000人左右。

Guizhou Police College is the only full-time public undergraduate institution of political and legal police type in Guizhou Province, sponsored by the People's Government of Guizhou Province, administered by the Public Security Department of Guizhou Province, and under the business management of the Education Department of Guizhou Province. Its predecessor was the Public Security Cadre School of the People's Government of Guizhou Province founded in February 1950. After several adjustments and developments, it was upgraded to an undergraduate-level institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2017 and named Guizhou Police College. In June 2021, it was added as a bachelor's degree-granting unit. Located in the Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone of Guiyang, the college covers an area of 367,900 square meters with a total building area of 177,100 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is over 57.36 million yuan, with more than 820,600 paper books and 1.5 million e-books in the library. Currently, it has nearly 4,000 students and trains about 5,000 in-service police officers annually.

学校设有10个教学系部，开设14个本科专业，形成以公安学、公安技术为主体，法学、工学、教育学等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。其中公安学为省级一流学科，刑事科学技术为省级重点学科，治安学、公安管理学、侦查学、刑事科学技术4个专业为省级一流专业建设点。现有教职工437人，专任教师240人，高级职称占比33.33%，硕士及以上学位教师占比83.75%，拥有教育部教学指导委员会委员、省管专家、省级教学名师等各类高层次人才30余人。

The college has 10 teaching departments and offers 14 undergraduate majors, forming a discipline and professional system with public security science and public security technology as the main body, and coordinated development of law, engineering, education and other disciplines. Among them, Public Security Science is a provincial first-class discipline, Forensic Science and Technology is a provincial key discipline, and four majors including Public Security Studies, Public Security Management, Investigation, and Forensic Science and Technology are provincial first-class professional construction sites. There are 437 faculty members, including 240 full-time teachers, with 33.33% having senior professional titles and 83.75% having master's degrees or above. It has more than 30 high-level talents such as members of the Ministry of Education's Teaching Steering Committee, provincial management experts, and provincial teaching masters.

学校坚持“忠诚为本、育警铸魂、德法兼修、知行合一”的办学理念，构建“教学研练战”一体化人才培养模式，建有61个校内实验实训场所和55个校外实践教学基地，司法鉴定中心年均办理案件超3000起，先后为公安政法系统培养输送毕业生5万余人，培训在职民警9万余人，涌现出全国公安系统一级英模、全国最美大学生等优秀校友，被誉为“贵州公安警官的摇篮”。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "loyalty as the foundation, cultivating police spirit, integrating morality and law, and unity of knowledge and practice", the college has built an integrated talent training model of "teaching, research, training and combat". It has 61 on-campus experimental training sites and 55 off-campus practical teaching bases. The judicial appraisal center handles more than 3,000 cases annually. It has successively trained and transported more than 50,000 graduates for the public security and political legal system and trained more than 90,000 in-service police officers. Outstanding alumni such as first-class models of the national public security system and national most beautiful college students have emerged, and it is known as "the cradle of Guizhou public security police officers".
