甘孜职业学院是经四川省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的甘孜州第一所全日制公办普通高等职业院校，填补了全省21个市州中唯一没有高等职业院校的空白。学院位于甘孜州泸定县燕子沟镇，规划占地600亩，规划总面积23.35万平方米，预算投资12.6亿元，办学规模6000人。2021年首次招生，从开工建设到交付使用、从办学筹备到招生开学，创造了“一年建设一所大学、半年筹办一所大学”的甘孜奇迹。

Ganzi Vocational College is the first full-time public higher vocational college in Ganzi Prefecture, approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and filed by the Ministry of Education, filling the gap of the only city/prefecture without higher vocational colleges among the 21 cities/prefectures in the province. Located in Yanzigou Town, Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, the college plans to cover an area of 600 mu with a total planned area of 233,500 square meters, a budgeted investment of 1.26 billion yuan, and a school-running scale of 6,000 students. It enrolled students for the first time in 2021, creating the "Ganzi Miracle" of "building a university in one year and preparing for a university in half a year" from the start of construction to delivery and from school preparation to enrollment.

学院现开设护理、藏医学、藏药学、畜牧兽医、旅游管理、电子商务、计算机应用技术等16个专业，在校生2874人，生源覆盖四川、青海、西藏、甘肃等省份。办学以来，先后加入四川省大中小思政一体化成员单位、成渝红色文化教育共同体成员，获得甘孜州第六批民族团结进步示范学校、四川省高校食堂标准建设先进单位等荣誉。

The college currently offers 16 majors including Nursing, Tibetan Medicine, Tibetan Pharmacy, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Tourism Management, E-Commerce, and Computer Application Technology, with 2,874 students from Sichuan, Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu and other provinces. Since its establishment, it has successively joined the Sichuan Provincial Integration of Ideological and Political Education in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Schools and the Chengdu-Chongqing Red Culture Education Community, and has been awarded honors such as the Sixth Batch of Model Schools for National Unity and Progress in Ganzi Prefecture and Advanced Unit for Standardized Construction of College Canteens in Sichuan Province.

学院坚持社会主义办学方向，贯彻党的教育方针，铸牢中华民族共同体意识，以全日制专科学历教育为主，积极开展职业技能培训，立足甘孜、面向周边、辐射省内外，培养适应地区经济社会发展的技能型、实用型高素质人才。

Adhering to the socialist orientation in running schools, implementing the Party's educational policy, and forging a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation, the college focuses on full-time specialist education and actively carries out vocational skills training. Based in Ganzi, facing surrounding areas and radiating inside and outside the province, it aims to cultivate skilled and practical high-quality talents adapting to regional economic and social development.
