河南财政金融学院是2016年经教育部批准设置、河南省人民政府举办的全日制普通本科院校，由原河南财政税务高等专科学校（1953年建校）与河南教育学院（1955年建校）合并组建。学校坐落于历史文化名城郑州市，现有龙子湖、象湖两个主校区，总占地面积约120.6万平方米，校舍建筑面积69.99万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值1.71亿元，馆藏纸质图书268万余册。

Henan University of Finance and Economics is a full-time public undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in 2016 and sponsored by the People's Government of Henan Province. It was formed by the merger of the former Henan College of Finance and Taxation (founded in 1953) and Henan Institute of Education (founded in 1955). Located in the historical and cultural city of Zhengzhou, the university has two main campuses, Longzihu and Xianghu, covering a total area of approximately 1.206 million square meters, with a building area of 699,900 square meters. The total value of teaching and research equipment is 171 million yuan, and the collection of paper books exceeds 2.68 million volumes.

学校以经济学、管理学为主体，打造“财经+科技”“财经+教育”的“一体两翼”办学特色，现有23个教学单位、39个本科专业，会计学科为河南省重点建设学科，财政学、投资学等8个专业入选省一流本科专业建设点。专任教师866人中，高级职称占比42.03%，博士、硕士学位占比88.11%，拥有国务院特殊津贴专家、中原教学名师等省级以上人才40余人。近三年获国家级一流本科课程3门、省级教学成果奖11项（特等奖2项），学生在学科竞赛中获国家级奖项千余项，是河南省文明校园、高质量就业示范高校。

With economics and management as its main disciplines, the university has developed a "one body, two wings" educational特色, featuring "finance + technology" and "finance + education". It currently has 23 teaching units and 39 undergraduate programs. Accounting is a key discipline in Henan Province, and 8 programs including Finance and Investment Science have been selected as provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites. Among the 866 full-time teachers, 42.03% have senior professional titles, and 88.11% hold doctoral or master's degrees. There are over 40 provincial-level and above talents, including experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and Central Plains Teaching Masters. In the past three years, the university has won 3 national first-class undergraduate courses and 11 provincial teaching achievement awards (including 2 special prizes). Students have won more than 1,000 national awards in academic competitions. It is recognized as a Civilized Campus of Henan Province and a Model University for High-Quality Employment.
