海南外国语职业学院创建于1947年，坐落于中国首个滨海卫星发射基地——文昌市，是经海南省政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制外语类高等职业院校，也是海南省外语语种最多（18种）、外语专业最齐的高校。学校规划用地850余亩，现有占地面积639亩，教学条件优越，拥有50多个校内实训室和近百个校外实习实训基地，生活交通便利，乘坐高铁到海口美兰国际机场仅需17分钟、到省会海口仅需28分钟。

Hainan College of Foreign Studies, founded in 1947, is located in Wenchang City, China's first coastal satellite launch base. It is a public full-time foreign language higher vocational college approved by the Hainan Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is also the university with the most foreign language types (18) and the most complete foreign language majors in Hainan Province. The school has a planned land area of over 850 mu, with a current area of 639 mu. It boasts superior teaching conditions, including more than 50 on-campus training rooms and nearly 100 off-campus internship and training bases. The living and transportation are convenient, with a high-speed rail ride to Haikou Meilan International Airport taking only 17 minutes and to the provincial capital Haikou taking just 28 minutes.

学校现有英语、日语、韩语等18种外语语种，对接国家“一带一路”倡议和海南自贸港需求，设置37个专业、56个专业方向，形成了以外语类、教育类、国际商贸与国际旅游类等多个专业群协同发展的“外语+专业”“专业+外语”特色专业人才培养格局。学校实施人才强校战略，拥有外籍教师30余人，并聘有大批来自国（境）内外高校、研究机构的客座教授和行业企业一线专家能手，近三年毕业生去向落实率均在93%以上。

The college currently offers 18 foreign languages including English, Japanese, and Korean. In response to the national "Belt and Road" initiative and the needs of Hainan Free Trade Port, it has set up 37 majors and 56 professional directions, forming a characteristic professional talent training pattern of "foreign language + major" and "major + foreign language" with the coordinated development of multiple professional groups such as foreign language, education, international business, and international tourism. The school implements the strategy of strengthening the university with talents, having more than 30 foreign teachers, and employing a large number of visiting professors from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions as well as experts from the frontline of industries and enterprises. The employment rate of graduates in the past three years has been above 93%.
