哈尔滨体育学院坐落于中国现代冰雪运动的发源地哈尔滨，创建于1956年，是体育学一级学科博士学位授权单位、国内唯一拥有冰雪运动学、冰雪体育经济优势特色学科的高校；是全国冰雪体育人才培养历史最长、冰雪体育文化积淀最深、冰雪运动项目开设种类最多、冰雪体育人才培养层次最丰富的高校；是我国15所专业体育院校中冰雪体育办学优势特色突出、培养冬季运动项目世界冠军最多的高校；是中共中央、国务院授予北京2022年冬奥会冬残奥会突出贡献集体的全国唯一一所高校。

Harbin Sport University is located in Harbin, the birthplace of modern ice and snow sports in China. Founded in 1956, it is a doctoral degree authorization unit for the first-level discipline of Sports Science and the only university in China with advantageous and characteristic disciplines of Ice and Snow Sports Science and Ice and Snow Sports Economics. It is the university with the longest history of ice and snow sports talent cultivation, the deepest accumulation of ice and snow sports culture, the most types of ice and snow sports programs, and the most abundant levels of ice and snow sports talent cultivation in China. Among the 15 professional sports colleges in China, it has prominent advantages and characteristics in ice and snow sports education and has cultivated the most world champions in winter sports events. It is the only university in China awarded the Outstanding Contribution Collective for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council.

学校由主校区和尚志校区组成，总占地面积276.5万平方米，建有高山滑雪场、大学生滑冰馆、田径馆等室内外训练场馆近40个，先后承接第24届世界大学生冬季运动会、2018年世界班迪锦标赛、第九届亚洲冬季运动会等国际冰雪运动赛事任务。设有8个二级学院、1个研究生院和1个中等专业学校，建立了中专、本科、硕士、博士全链条贯通式冰雪体育人才培养体系。拥有冰雪运动学、冰雪体育经济2个省级优势特色学科，设有体育学一级学科博士学位授权点和5个二级学科点，体育学一级学科硕士学位授权点和7个二级学科点，以及体育硕士专业学位授权点，实现体育学所属二级学科全覆盖。

The university consists of the main campus and the Shangzhi campus, with a total area of 2.765 million square meters. It has nearly 40 indoor and outdoor training venues such as alpine ski resorts, university skating rinks, and track and field halls. It has successively undertaken international ice and snow sports events such as the 24th World University Winter Games, the 2018 World Bandy Championship, and the 9th Asian Winter Games. It has 8 secondary colleges, 1 graduate school, and 1 secondary vocational school, establishing a full-chain ice and snow sports talent training system covering secondary vocational, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. It has 2 provincial advantageous and characteristic disciplines: Ice and Snow Sports Science and Ice and Snow Sports Economics. It has a doctoral degree authorization point for the first-level discipline of Sports Science with 5 secondary discipline points, a master's degree authorization point for the first-level discipline of Sports Science with 7 secondary discipline points, and a professional master's degree authorization point in Sports, realizing full coverage of secondary disciplines under Sports Science.

建校以来，学校先后为社会输送近4万名优秀毕业生，为国家培养冬季运动项目奥运会冠军和世界冠军24人，位居全国第一。有中国第一位冬季项目世界冠军罗致焕，中国历史上实现冬奥会双人滑奖牌零突破的申雪、赵宏博，中国历史上短道速滑第一位三冠王王蒙，中国历史上实现冬残奥会金牌零突破的王海涛等一大批高水平运动员、教练员、裁判员。在北京2022年冬奥会冬残奥会上，师生分别获得3金2铜和12金6银10铜的好成绩；在2025年哈尔滨第九届亚洲冬季运动会上，师生获得7金、3银、8铜的好成绩，受到最高荣誉表彰。

Since its establishment, the university has cultivated nearly 40,000 outstanding graduates for the society and 24 Olympic and world champions in winter sports for the country, ranking first in China. There are a large number of high-level athletes, coaches, and referees, such as Luo Zhihuan, China's first world champion in winter sports; Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo, who achieved the zero breakthrough in Winter Olympics pair skating medals in Chinese history; Wang Meng, the first triple champion in short track speed skating in Chinese history; and Wang Haitao, who achieved the zero breakthrough in Winter Paralympics gold medals in Chinese history. At the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, teachers and students won 3 gold and 2 bronze medals, and 12 gold, 6 silver, and 10 bronze medals respectively. At the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin 2025, teachers and students won 7 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medals, receiving the highest honorary commendation.
