河北轨道运输职业技术学院位于河北省省会石家庄市，隶属于河北省人力资源和社会保障厅，是一所轨道交通行业特色鲜明、面向全国招生的公办普通高等职业院校。2012年经省政府批准、教育部备案，整合石家庄铁路运输学校和原石家庄铁路司机学校优质资源成立。学校确立了以全日制大中专在校生教育为主体，以成人教育、技能鉴定、职业技能培训为辅助，以校产集团引领校企深度融合为支撑的一体两翼发展战略，构建了中、高职教育相互衔接的职业教育直通车和技师、高级技师、中专与高等职业教育相互沟通的人才培养立交桥，办学规模达3万余人。

Hebei Vocational College of Rail Transportation is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei Province. Affiliated to Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, it is a public higher vocational college with distinct characteristics in the rail transportation industry and enrolls students nationwide. Approved by the provincial government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2012, the college was established by integrating the high-quality resources of Shijiazhuang Railway Transportation School and the former Shijiazhuang Railway Driver School. The college has established a "One Body, Two Wings" development strategy, with full-time secondary and higher vocational education as the main body, supplemented by adult education, skill appraisal, and vocational skill training, and supported by school-enterprise deep integration led by the school industry group. It has built a vocational education "through train" connecting secondary and higher vocational education and a talent training "overpass" connecting technician, senior technician, secondary vocational and higher vocational education, with a school-running scale of more than 30,000 students.

学校现有5个校区，总占地面积近千亩，建筑面积31万余平方米，教职工868名，副高级职称人员226人。铁道机车运用与维护专业群是教育部高职创新发展行动计划省域高水平专业群建设项目；铁道交通运营管理专业是全国职业院校交通运输大类示范专业点。学校是国家级高技能人才培训基地、国家示范性职业教育集团（联盟）培育单位、中国铁路总公司运输类专业技术人员和机车驾驶员培训基地，建有目前全国唯一的由国家发改委、人社部和河北省政府共同建设的国家级示范项目——河北省职业技能公共实训基地。

The college has 5 campuses with a total area of nearly 1,000 mu and a building area of more than 310,000 square meters. It has 868 faculty members, including 226 with associate senior titles or above. The railway locomotive application and maintenance professional group is a provincial high-level professional group construction project of the Ministry of Education's Higher Vocational Innovation and Development Action Plan; the railway transportation operation management major is a national demonstration professional point for transportation categories in vocational colleges. The college is a national high-skilled talent training base, a national demonstration vocational education group (alliance) cultivation unit, a training base for transportation professionals and locomotive drivers of China Railway Corporation, and has built the only national demonstration project in China jointly constructed by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Hebei Provincial Government - Hebei Vocational Skills Public Training Base.
