湖北科技职业学院是由湖北省人民政府举办的全日制高等职业学校，创建于1977年，位于武汉中心城区、光谷腹地，现有关山和鲁巷两个校区。关山校区与武汉光谷软件园园校一体，周边高新技术企业环绕；鲁巷校区紧邻光谷广场，高校林立、交通便利。学校总占地面积403亩，是全国现代学徒制试点单位、教育部1+X证书试点院校、全国职业院校数字校园建设样板校及国家级职业教育教师教学创新团队立项建设单位。

Hubei Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time higher vocational school sponsored by the People's Government of Hubei Province. Founded in 1977, it is located in the central urban area of Wuhan and the hinterland of Optics Valley, with two campuses: Guanshan and Luxiang. The Guanshan Campus is integrated with Wuhan Optics Valley Software Park, surrounded by high-tech enterprises, while the Luxiang Campus is adjacent to Optics Valley Square, with numerous universities and convenient transportation. Covering a total area of 403 mu, the college is a national pilot unit for modern apprenticeship, a pilot institution for the Ministry of Education's 1+X certificate system, a national model school for digital campus construction in vocational colleges, and a national-level vocational education teacher teaching innovation team construction unit.

学校立足光谷产业优势，开设36个专科专业，形成装备制造、信息技术、财会金融等8大专业群，拥有省级品牌专业1个、特色专业3个、骨干专业6个。师资队伍中副高级以上教师占比超40%，双师素质教师占专业课教师77%，楚天技能名师16人。通过与烽火科技、华为、东风本田等140余家企业深度合作，建成2个国家级实训基地、3个省级实训基地及96个校内实训室，近三年毕业生就业率保持98%以上，400余人次获国家级、省级职业技能竞赛奖项。

Based on the industrial advantages of Optics Valley, the college offers 36 specialized programs, forming 8 major professional groups including equipment manufacturing, information technology, and finance. It has 1 provincial brand major, 3 provincial characteristic majors, and 6 provincial key majors. Over 40% of the faculty hold associate senior titles or above, 77% of professional course teachers have dual-qualification (academic and industrial experience), and there are 16 Chutian Skilled Teachers. Through in-depth cooperation with over 140 enterprises such as FiberHome Technologies, Huawei, and Dongfeng Honda, the college has built 2 national-level training bases, 3 provincial-level training bases, and 96 on-campus laboratories. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 98% in recent three years, with over 400 students winning awards in national and provincial vocational skills competitions.
