济源职业技术学院是济源市人民政府举办的一所公办普通高等职业院校，位于愚公故里、济水之源的全国文明城市——济源。学校始建于1993年，前身是济源中等工业学校，2001年升格为高等职业院校，2015年与郑州轻工业大学联办应用型本科教育。建校以来，学校全面贯彻党的教育方针，落实立德树人根本任务，秉承愚公移山精神，依托区域产业发展，艰苦创业，开拓进取，不断创新教育教学理念、办学体制机制和人才培养模式，推动学校高质量发展。

Jiyuan Vocational and Technical College is a public ordinary higher vocational college run by the People's Government of Jiyuan City. It is located in Jiyuan, a national civilized city known as the hometown of Yugong and the source of Jishui. Founded in 1993, the school was formerly Jiyuan Secondary Industrial School. It was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2001 and jointly ran applied undergraduate education with Zhengzhou University of Light Industry in 2015. Since its establishment, the school has fully implemented the Party's educational policy, fulfilled the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, upheld the spirit of Yugong moving mountains, relied on regional industrial development, worked hard, forged ahead, continuously innovated educational and teaching concepts, school-running systems and mechanisms, and talent training models, and promoted the high-quality development of the school.

学校现有沁园、高新两个校区，占地面积2400多亩（其中在建新校区占地1626亩，总投资38.77亿元）。教学仪器设备总值2亿元，拥有国家一级图书馆和省内一流的职业技能实训中心，馆藏图书110.99万册，实践教学场所总面积近10万余平方米，校内实验实训室280余个。学校现有全日制在校生22000多人，成人教育3000多人，生源覆盖全国23个省份。拥有教职工1300余人，其中，教授、副教授250余人，博士、硕士500多人，享受国务院特殊津贴专家、河南省学术技术带头人、教育教学专家、省级教学名师40余人。

The school currently has two campuses, Qinyuan and Gaoxin, covering an area of more than 2,400 mu (including a new campus under construction covering 1,626 mu with a total investment of 3.877 billion yuan). The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 200 million yuan. It has a national first-class library and a first-class vocational skills training center in the province, with a collection of 1.1099 million books. The total area of practical teaching places is nearly 100,000 square meters, and there are more than 280 on-campus laboratories and training rooms. The school currently has more than 22,000 full-time students and more than 3,000 adult education students, with students from 23 provinces across the country. It has more than 1,300 faculty members, including more than 250 professors and associate professors, more than 500 doctors and masters, and more than 40 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, academic and technical leaders in Henan Province, educational and teaching experts, and provincial-level teaching masters.

学校坚持走内涵式发展道路，以质量求生存，以特色谋发展，探索了专业设置对接产业发展、课程设置对接岗位能力、实践教学对接企业生产、教育服务对接社会需求的四对接办学模式，形成了围绕产业办专业、办好专业促产业，课堂教学车间化、实习实训生产化，校企办学双主体、合作育人全过程的人才培养特色，打造了政府主导、行业指导、企业参与、协同育人的济职样板，形成了产教融合、盟院合作、愚公移山精神育人等职教品牌。

The school adheres to the path of connotative development, seeking survival through quality and development through characteristics. It has explored a four-docking school-running model, namely, major setting docking industrial development, curriculum setting docking post capabilities, practical teaching docking enterprise production, and educational services docking social needs. It has formed the talent training characteristics of running majors around industries, improving majors to promote industries, making classroom teaching workshop-style, internship training production-oriented, school-enterprise co-management as double subjects, and cooperative education throughout the whole process. It has created a Jiyuan vocational model led by the government, guided by the industry, participated by enterprises, and coordinated education, and formed vocational education brands such as industry-education integration, alliance-college cooperation, and educating people with the spirit of Yugong moving mountains.

学校主动对接国家、区域经济发展战略，开设了工业机器人、智能冶金技术、应用化工技术、新能源汽车技术、大数据技术与应用、建筑工程技术、护理、学前教育、电子商务、首饰设计与工艺、高铁乘务等社会急需专业，积极服务经济社会发展。与华为集团、格力集团、富联科技、比亚迪、河南豫光、济源钢铁、河南金利、河南清水源、济源文旅集团等500多家企业签订了合作协议，共建了智能制造产业学院、甲骨文软件学院、白银珠宝产业培训学院、济源工匠学院、苏州工业园区现代产业学院等，每年为社会输送技术技能人才6000多人，开展技术技能培训2万多人次。

The school actively aligns with national and regional economic development strategies, offering majors in high demand by society such as industrial robots, intelligent metallurgical technology, applied chemical technology, new energy vehicle technology, big data technology and application, construction engineering technology, nursing, preschool education, e-commerce, jewelry design and technology, and high-speed rail crew, to actively serve economic and social development. It has signed cooperation agreements with more than 500 enterprises such as Huawei Group, Gree Group, Fuhua Technology, BYD, Henan Yuguang, Jiyuan Iron and Steel, Henan Jinli, Henan Qingshuiyuan, and Jiyuan Cultural Tourism Group, and has jointly established Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College, Oracle Software College, Silver Jewelry Industry Training College, Jiyuan Craftsman College, Suzhou Industrial Park Modern Industry College, etc. It输送s more than 6,000 technical and skilled talents to the society every year and carries out more than 20,000 person-times of technical and skilled training.
