河南财经政法大学坐落于河南省郑州市，是省属公办全日制普通高等学校，河南省特色骨干大学，博士学位授予单位。学校办学历史追溯至1948年，历经发展，于2010年由原河南财经学院与河南省政法管理干部学院合并组建而成。学校秉承“博洽通达、弘毅致远”校训，实施“人才强校、质量立校、学术兴校、特色名校、制度治校、文化厚校”战略，着力建设特色鲜明的高水平应用研究型大学。

Henan University of Economics and Law is located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. It is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning, a key backbone university in Henan Province, and a doctoral degree-granting unit. The university's educational history dates back to 1948. After years of development, it was formed in 2010 by the merger of the former Henan Institute of Finance and Economics and Henan Provincial Institute of Political Science and Law. Adhering to the motto of "Erudite and Accessible, Resolute and Aspirant", the university implements the strategy of "Strengthening the University with Talents, Establishing the University with Quality, Promoting the University with Academics, Building the University with Characteristics, Governing the University with Systems, and Enriching the University with Culture", striving to build a distinctive high-level applied research university.

学校以经济学、管理学、法学为主干学科，兼有文学、理学、工学、艺术学、哲学等学科门类，形成多学科协调发展的办学体系。现有农林经济管理和法学2个一级学科博士学位授权点，12个一级学科硕士学位授权点，22种硕士专业学位授权类别，65个本科专业，其中国家级一流本科专业建设点13个。学校拥有3个校区，占地面积2000余亩，全日制在校本专科生28000余人、研究生3400余人，教职工2100余人，其中具有高级职称者800余人、博士学位者1000余人。

The university takes economics, management, and law as its main disciplines, along with literature, science, engineering, art, philosophy and other disciplines, forming a multi-disciplinary coordinated development system. It has 2 first-level discipline doctoral programs in Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management, and Law, 12 first-level discipline master programs, 22 types of professional master degree categories, and 65 undergraduate majors, including 13 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The university has 3 campuses, covering an area of more than 2000 mu, with over 28,000 full-time undergraduates, more than 3,400 postgraduates, and more than 2,100 faculty members, including over 800 with senior professional titles and more than 1,000 with doctoral degrees.
