河北旅游职业学院坐落于山水秀美、人文荟萃的中国优秀旅游城市和国家森林城市——河北省承德市，是河北省唯一以旅游命名的综合性公办全日制高职院校。学校前身是创建于1950年的热河省农林专科学校，2006年经河北省政府批准，由原承德旅游职业学院和原承德职业学院合并组建而成。学校主要培养旅游、现代农业、新商科、设计与信息技术等领域的高素质技术技能型人才，是河北省重点建设的示范性高等职业院校和优质专科高等职业院校。

Hebei Tourism College is located in Chengde City, Hebei Province, a renowned excellent tourist city and national forest city in China, known for its beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage. It is the only comprehensive public full-time higher vocational college named after tourism in Hebei Province. The college traces its roots back to the Rehe Provincial Agricultural College founded in 1950. In 2006, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government, it was established by merging the former Chengde Tourism Vocational College and the former Chengde Vocational College. The college mainly cultivates high-quality technical and skilled talents in fields such as tourism, modern agriculture, new business, design, and information technology. It is a key construction demonstrative higher vocational college and a high-quality specialized higher vocational college in Hebei Province.

学校现设有文化旅游、酒店管理、现代农业与园林、畜牧兽医、现代商务、艺术设计、信息与智能工程7个二级学院及3个教学部，全日制在校生1万余人，开设专业40余个。拥有全国职业院校示范专业点1个、中央财政支持建设专业2个、省级高水平专业群2个，建有127个校内实训室和132个校外实践教学基地，与洲际酒店集团、中国旅游集团等知名企业深化产教融合。近年来荣获全国文明校园创建先进校、河北省文明单位等多项荣誉称号。

The college currently has 7 secondary colleges, including the College of Cultural Tourism, Hotel Management, Modern Agriculture and Gardening, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Modern Business, Art Design, and Information and Intelligent Engineering, as well as 3 teaching departments. It has over 10,000 full-time students and offers more than 40 majors. The college boasts 1 national vocational college demonstration major, 2 majors supported by central finance, and 2 provincial high-level professional groups. It has established 127 on-campus training rooms and 132 off-campus practical teaching bases, and deepened industry-education integration with renowned enterprises such as InterContinental Hotels Group and China Tourism Group. In recent years, it has been honored with titles such as Advanced School for National Civilized Campus Creation and Civilized Unit of Hebei Province.
