湖北医药学院药护学院成立于2003年3月，是经国家教育部批准设立的湖北省唯一医学类独立学院，其前身为湖北医药学院专科部。学院坐落于湖北省十堰市，现有自有产权占地面积1268.8亩，校舍建筑面积超11万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值达4715.43万元，图书馆藏书72.41万册，为学生提供了良好的学习与生活环境。

Institute of Medicine and Nursing, Hubei University of Medicine was founded in March 2003. It is the only independent medical college in Hubei Province approved by the Ministry of Education, with its predecessor being the Junior College Department of Hubei University of Medicine. Located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, the college has an independent property area of 1268.8 mu, school building area of over 110,000 square meters, total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaching 47.1543 million yuan, and a library collection of 724,100 books, providing an excellent learning and living environment for students.

学院以本科教育为主，适度保留专科教育，现开设有临床医学、麻醉学、护理学、医学检验技术、药学等12个本科专业，涵盖医学、理学、管理学等多个学科领域。2010年本科专业全部通过湖北省教育厅本科教学合格评估，2012年被批准为学士学位授权单位，可授予医学、理学、管理学学士学位。学院依托湖北医药学院优质教育资源，共享6所附属教学医院及51家临床实习医院，注重实践教学与人才培养质量，已为医药卫生行业输送了大批实用型专业人才。

The college focuses on undergraduate education with appropriate retention of junior college education. It currently offers 12 undergraduate majors including Clinical Medicine, Anesthesiology, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmacy, covering multiple disciplines such as medicine, science, and management. In 2010, all undergraduate majors passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment by Hubei Provincial Department of Education, and in 2012, it was approved as a bachelor's degree-granting unit, authorized to confer bachelor's degrees in medicine, science, and management. Relying on the high-quality educational resources of Hubei University of Medicine, the college shares 6 affiliated teaching hospitals and 51 clinical internship hospitals, emphasizing practical teaching and talent training quality, and has cultivated a large number of practical professionals for the medical and health industry.
