河北司法警官职业学院是经河北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的国办全日制普通高等学校，由河北省司法厅主办。学院前身为河北司法学校、河北警官学校和河北政法函授大学，2004年1月经省政府和教育部批准正式组建。学院坐落在国家历史文化名城—邯郸，河北省会设石家庄校区，总占地面积927亩。校园环境幽雅，教学、生活设施完善，拥有司法鉴定中心、实弹射击馆、警体训练馆等独具警院特色的教学实训设施，另有校外实习实训基地80余个。

Hebei Vocational College of Justice and Police is a state-run full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and registered with the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Department of Justice of Hebei Province. The college originated from Hebei Judicial School, Hebei Police School and Hebei Political and Legal Correspondence University, and was formally established in January 2004 with the approval of the provincial government and the Ministry of Education. Located in Handan, a national historical and cultural city, the college has a campus in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, with a total area of 927 mu. The campus has a pleasant environment and complete teaching and living facilities, including a judicial identification center, a live ammunition shooting range, a police physical training hall and other teaching and training facilities with unique police college characteristics, as well as more than 80 off-campus internships and training bases.

学院属公办全日制人民警察高等职业专科学校，是全省唯一一所司法警察类院校。主要为司法行政系统中的监狱、戒毒等单位培养各类警务人才，同时为政法系统和社会用人单位培养具备实用法律和相关技能的专门人才。学院实行警务化管理，学生在校期间统一着人民警察学员制式服装，现有法律事务、刑事执行、安全防范技术等多个专业，致力于培养高素质实战型司法警务人才。
