湖北大学知行学院创办于2000年，是经国家教育部批准、由湖北大学举办的具有学士学位授予权的全日制普通高等学校，是湖北省首批应用转型发展试点高校。学校位于武汉市江岸区，坐落在武汉天兴洲长江大桥北端，占地460余亩，现有全日制在校学生11000余人。

Hubei University Zhixing College, founded in 2000, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education with the right to confer bachelor's degrees approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Hubei University. It is one of the first pilot universities for application-oriented transformation in Hubei Province. Located in Jiang'an District, Wuhan, at the northern end of the Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge, the college covers an area of more than 460 mu and has over 11,000 full-time students.

学校秉承“厚德载物，认知践行”的育人理念，设有粮食与食品工程学院、机械与自动化学院、会计学院等11个教学院部，40余个招生专业，其中食品科学与工程、计算机科学与技术等多个专业为省级一流本科专业建设点。现有教师近600人，中高级职称达80%，湖北大学长期委派优秀教师承担教学与管理工作。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Virtue Carries Things, Cognition and Practice", the college has 11 teaching departments including the College of Food Science and Engineering, the College of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, and the College of Accounting, with more than 40 enrollment majors. Among them, Food Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology and other majors are provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites. There are nearly 600 teachers, 80% of whom have medium or senior professional titles. Hubei University has long appointed outstanding teachers to undertake teaching and management work.

学校建有现代化图书馆、各类专业实验教学大楼、标准化学生公寓等完备设施，馆藏纸质图书90余万册，并与湖北大学共享图书信息资源。学生公寓配备冷暖空调、热水系统及宽带网络，为教学科研和学生生活提供坚实保障。近二十多年来，学校培养的学生以综合素质高、实践能力强赢得社会广泛认可，毕业生就业率持续保持较高水平。

The college has complete facilities such as a modern library, various professional experimental teaching buildings, and standardized student apartments, with a collection of more than 900,000 paper books, and shares book information resources with Hubei University. Student apartments are equipped with heating and cooling air conditioners, hot water systems and broadband networks, providing a solid guarantee for teaching, scientific research and student life. Over the past two decades, the college's graduates have won wide social recognition for their high comprehensive quality and strong practical ability, and the employment rate has remained at a high level.
