湖北工业大学工程技术学院始建于2002年，是由湖北工业大学主办，经国家教育部批准独立设置的全日制普通高等学校，具有学士学位授予权。学院坚持社会主义办学方向，以建设特色鲜明的高水平应用型大学为奋斗目标，秉持“育人为本、质量立校、产教融合、特色发展”的办学理念，锻铸“明德明志力新力行”的校训精神，积极推进“4321”人才培养模式，构建“专业核心+职业核心”的双核心能力人才培养体系。

Hubei University of Technology Engineering and Technology College was founded in 2002. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education independently established with the approval of the Ministry of Education, sponsored by Hubei University of Technology, and has the right to grant bachelor's degrees. Adhering to the socialist orientation in running schools, the college aims to build a distinctive high-level application-oriented university. It upholds the school-running philosophy of "student-oriented, quality-based, industry-education integration, and characteristic development", forges the school motto spirit of "Virtue, Aspiration, Innovation, and Action", actively promotes the "4321" talent training model, and constructs a dual-core competency talent training system of "professional core + vocational core".

学院位于国家中心城市湖北省武汉市，地处武昌南湖之滨，毗连湖北工业大学，共享其各类重点实验室、实践教学基地及图书馆等优质资源。校园占地面积千余亩，校舍面积30余万平方米，教学及生活设施齐全，拥有专职教师546人，副高以上职称占比60%以上，双师型教师占比达76%以上。学院聚焦区域经济发展，与中兴通讯、中软国际等行业龙头企业深度合作，获批多个国家级产教融合平台，形成了以工学为主，经、管、文、理、艺多学科协调发展的办学格局，是莘莘学子求学深造的理想殿堂。

The college is located in Wuhan, the national central city of Hubei Province, on the bank of Nanhu Lake in Wuchang, adjacent to Hubei University of Technology, sharing its various key laboratories, practical teaching bases, library and other high-quality resources. The campus covers an area of more than 1,000 mu, with school buildings of over 300,000 square meters, complete teaching and living facilities. It has 546 full-time teachers, with more than 60% having associate senior titles or above, and over 76% being double-qualified teachers. Focusing on regional economic development, the college has in-depth cooperation with leading enterprises in the industry such as ZTE and Neusoft Group, and has been approved for multiple national industry-education integration platforms, forming a school-running pattern with engineering as the main focus and coordinated development of economics, management, liberal arts, science, and art, making it an ideal place for students to pursue their studies.
