邯郸职业技术学院创建于1983年6月，前身为邯郸职业大学，1997年经国家教委批准更为现名。学院位于历史文化名城河北省邯郸市，是一所公办全日制普通高等职业院校，以工科为主，经、管、文、艺多学科协调发展。学校是国家骨干高职院校、国家首批优质专科高等职业院校建设立项单位、教育部高职高专人才培养工作水平评估优秀院校，先后荣获黄炎培职业教育优秀学校奖、世界职教联盟卓越奖高等技术技能银奖等荣誉。

Handan Polytechnic College was founded in June 1983, formerly known as Handan Vocational University, and was renamed to its current name with the approval of the State Education Commission in 1997. Located in Handan City, Hebei Province, a famous historical and cultural city, the college is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college with engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of economics, management, liberal arts, and art disciplines. It is a National Key Vocational College, a National First Batch of High-Quality Vocational College Construction Project Unit, and an Excellent College in the Talent Training Level Evaluation of Higher Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of Education. It has successively won honors such as the Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Excellent School Award and the World Federation of Vocational Education Excellence Award for Higher Technical Skills Silver Award.

学院占地830余亩，建筑面积36余万平方米，设有13个教学系部、34个招生专业及3个产教融合二级学院（知识产权学院、友邦学院、食品学院），形成机电一体化、大数据、食品加工技术等7个专业群。现有全日制在校生1.2万余人，教职工637人，硕士以上学位教师占比75%以上，双师型教师比例达80%以上。拥有国家骨干院校重点建设专业4个、中央财政支持专业2个、省级示范专业7个，国家精品课2门、省级精品课11门，建有校外实习实训基地193个、校内实验实训室67个，深度对接区域主导产业。

The college covers an area of more than 830 mu, with a building area of over 360,000 square meters. It has 13 teaching departments, 34 enrollment majors, and 3 industry-education integration secondary colleges (Intellectual Property College, AIA College, Food College), forming 7 professional groups including mechatronics, big data, and food processing technology. There are more than 12,000 full-time students and 637 faculty members, with over 75% of teachers holding master's degrees or above and over 80% of "double-qualified" teachers. It has 4 key construction majors of National Key Vocational Colleges, 2 majors supported by central finance, 7 provincial demonstration majors, 2 national excellent courses, and 11 provincial excellent courses. There are 193 off-campus internship and training bases and 67 on-campus experimental training rooms, deeply connecting with regional leading industries.

The main campus is situated at No. 768 Zhuhe Road, Hanshan District, with an additional campus at Yongnian College. Covering a total area of over 830 mu and a building area of more than 360,000 square meters, the college has over 12,000 full-time students. As a national backbone higher vocational college and a national high-quality vocational college construction project unit, it has developed a multi-disciplinary educational structure focusing on engineering while coordinating the development of economics, management, liberal arts, and arts. It has been honored with titles such as "Excellent College" in the Ministry of Education's Higher Vocational College Talent Training Evaluation, National Modern Apprenticeship Pilot Unit, and Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Excellent School.

学院现设有13个教学系部、34个招生专业，构建了涵盖装备制造、建筑工程、食品加工、现代物流、信息技术等领域的7个专业群，其中国家骨干院校重点建设专业4个（建筑工程技术、机电一体化技术、装潢艺术设计、物流管理），中央财政支持专业2个，省级示范专业7个。师资力量雄厚，教职工637人，硕士以上学位教师占比75%，"双师型"教师比例达80%，拥有国家级精品课2门、省级精品课11门。实践教学体系完善，建有校内实验实训室67个、校外实习基地193个，与长城汽车、河北银隆等企业深度合作，共建银隆新能源二级学院、邯郸知识产权学院等产教融合平台，2023年教师教学能力大赛获国赛二等奖，学生技能大赛年均获省级以上奖励60余项，毕业生就业率连续保持在95%以上。

The college currently has 13 teaching departments and 34 enrollment majors, forming 7 professional groups covering equipment manufacturing, construction engineering, food processing, modern logistics, information technology and other fields. Among them, there are 4 key construction majors of national backbone colleges (Construction Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Technology, Decorative Art Design, Logistics Management), 2 majors supported by central finance, and 7 provincial demonstration majors. With a strong faculty of 637 staff, 75% of teachers hold master's degrees or above, and 80% are "double-qualified" teachers. The college boasts 2 national excellent courses and 11 provincial excellent courses. Its practical teaching system is well-developed, with 67 on-campus laboratories and 193 off-campus internship bases. It has in-depth cooperation with enterprises like Great Wall Motors and Hebei Yinlong, co-establishing industry-education integration platforms such as Yinlong New Energy Secondary College and Handan Intellectual Property College. In 2023, teachers won the second prize in the national teaching ability competition, and students年均 win more than 60 provincial-level awards in skill competitions. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for consecutive years.
