河北农业大学是河北省人民政府与教育部、农业农村部、国家林业和草原局共建的重点骨干大学，国家大众创业万众创新示范基地，全国深化创新创业教育改革示范高校，教育部卓越工程师、卓越农林人才教育培养计划实施高校，河北省“双一流”建设高校。学校创建于1902年，是我国最早实施高等农业教育的院校之一，至今已有百余年办学历史。

Hebei Agricultural University is a key backbone university jointly built by the People's Government of Hebei Province, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. It is a national demonstration base for mass entrepreneurship and innovation, a national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, an implementation university of the Ministry of Education's Excellent Engineers and Excellent Agricultural and Forestry Talents Education and Training Program, and a "double first-class" construction university in Hebei Province. Founded in 1902, the university is one of the earliest institutions to implement higher agricultural education in China, with a history of more than 100 years.

学校坚持以立德树人为根本，以强农兴农为己任，形成了鲜明的办学特色和优良的校风学风。现有全日制本科生、研究生、留学生3万余人，教职工2600余人，其中高级职称人员1200余人，拥有国家级人才、省级人才等各类高层次人才200余人。学校设有29个学院，开设94个本科专业，涵盖农、工、理、经、管、文、法、艺等八大学科门类，拥有11个博士后科研流动站，11个一级学科博士点，24个一级学科硕士点，12个专业学位硕士点。

Adhering to the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and talents, and taking strengthening and invigorating agriculture as its own responsibility, the university has formed distinct school-running characteristics and excellent school spirit and study style. At present, there are more than 30,000 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates and international students, and more than 2,600 faculty members, including more than 1,200 with senior professional titles, and more than 200 high-level talents of various types such as national and provincial talents. The university has 29 colleges, offering 94 undergraduate majors, covering eight disciplines including agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law and art. It has 11 post-doctoral research stations, 11 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 24 first-level discipline master programs and 12 professional degree master programs.
