民办合肥滨湖职业技术学院是2002年经安徽省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案设立的全日制普通高等学校，坐落于合肥市核心区域——滨湖新区，毗邻中国五大淡水湖之一的巢湖，紧邻安徽省委省政府办公新区，区位优势明显，是一所宜住、宜学的花园式学校。

Hefei Binhu Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2002. It is located in the core area of Hefei——Binhu New District, adjacent to Chaohu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China, and close to the new office area of Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Government. With obvious geographical advantages, it is a garden-style school suitable for living and studying.

学院占地面积562亩，校舍建筑面积17万平方米，馆藏纸质图书50万册，电子图书32万册，校内外实验实训室和实训基地120多个，现有在校学生8000多人。学校坚持立足合肥，面向安徽，服务长三角，为现代服务业培养德、智、体、美、劳全面发展的应用型和技能型人才的办学定位，坚持立德树人、德技并修的人才培养理念。

The college covers an area of 562 mu, with a school building area of 170,000 square meters, a collection of 500,000 paper books, 320,000 e-books, more than 120 internal and external experimental training rooms and training bases, and more than 8,000 students.
