黑龙江民族职业学院始建于1928年,初名东北蒙旗师范学校。2005年,由黑龙江省民族中等专业学校(黑龙江省民族干部学院)、哈尔滨朝鲜族师范学校(黑龙江省朝鲜族教师进修学院)、齐齐哈尔民族师范学校合并升格为全日制普通高等职业专科学校,并于2015年成为国家民族事务委员会与黑龙江省人民政府共建高校。学院由黑龙江省人民政府举办,主管部门为黑龙江省教育厅,坐落于国家级新区——哈尔滨新区哈南工业新城。
Heilongjiang Minzu College was founded in 1928, initially named Northeast Mongolian Banner Normal School. In 2005, it was upgraded to a full-time ordinary higher vocational college through the merger of Heilongjiang Provincial Ethnic Secondary Professional School (Heilongjiang Provincial Ethnic Cadre College), Harbin Korean Normal School (Heilongjiang Provincial Korean Teacher Training College), and Qiqihar Ethnic Normal School. In 2015, it became a university jointly built by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province. Sponsored by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and under the supervision of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, the college is located in the Hanan Industrial New City of Harbin New Area, a national-level new area.
学院坚守“为党育人、为国育才”使命,履行高职专科和少数民族预科人才培养职能,承担教育援疆、援藏及少数民族(宗教)干部培训任务。作为黑龙江省普通高等教育少数民族预科教育基地,已开展预科培养38年;连续14年面向新疆、9年面向西藏招生;同时为内蒙古东部及援疆援藏地区培训干部人才。现有在校生7861人,涵盖38个民族,少数民族学生占比46.74%,推行混班教学、混合住宿促进民族团结。学院是黑龙江省第三轮高水平高职学校,设26个高职专业,其中国家重点专业2个、全国示范专业点2个,构建“特民艺、精民食、实民生、兴数智”的专业发展定位,深化产教融合,共建产业学院6个,获评全国民族团结进步教育基地等多项荣誉。
The college adheres to the mission of "Cultivating talents for the Party and the country", undertaking higher vocational education and ethnic minority preparatory education, as well as educational support tasks for Xinjiang and Tibet, and training of ethnic minority (religious) cadres. As the base for ethnic minority preparatory education in Heilongjiang's higher education system, it has provided preparatory education for 38 years; enrolled students from Xinjiang for 14 consecutive years and Tibet for 9 years; and trained cadres for eastern Inner Mongolia and regions aided by Heilongjiang in Xinjiang and Tibet. Currently, it has 7,861 students from 38 ethnic groups, with ethnic minority students accounting for 46.74%. The college promotes ethnic unity through mixed-class teaching and dormitory arrangements. As a high-level vocational college in Heilongjiang's third round, it offers 26 vocational programs, including 2 national key majors and 2 national demonstration program sites. It has established a professional development orientation of "Distinctive Ethnic Arts, Refined Ethnic Food, Practical Livelihood Services, and Developing Digital Intelligence", deepened industry-education integration by co-building 6 industrial colleges, and has been honored as a National Ethnic Unity Progress Education Base, among other titles.
