黑龙江生态工程职业学院（简称为生态学院），是经黑龙江省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的全日制公办高等职业学院，是一所以培养生态文明建设人才为特色的省级骨干高职建设优秀院校，是黑龙江省高水平高职骨干专业建设院校，是教育部现代学徒制试点和1+X证书制度试点院校，是黑龙江省高职高专院校园林类、环保类专业教学指导委员会理事长和秘书长单位，也是我国北方最早组建的生态环保类高等职业技术学院。

Heilongjiang Vocational Institute of Ecological Engineering (referred to as Ecological College) is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is an excellent provincial backbone higher vocational construction college featuring the cultivation of talents for ecological civilization construction, a key professional construction college for high-level higher vocational education in Heilongjiang Province, a pilot institution for the modern apprenticeship system and the 1+X certificate system of the Ministry of Education, the chairman and secretary-general unit of the Teaching Steering Committee for garden and environmental protection majors in higher vocational colleges of Heilongjiang Province, and also the earliest established higher vocational and technical college of ecological environmental protection in northern China.

学校创建于1953年9月，其前身是原中华人民共和国林业部所属的东北森林工业实验学校，之后两度与东北林学院（现为东北林业大学）合并，曾更名为东北林学院带岭分院、黑龙江林学院等。2004年4月，正式组建黑龙江生态工程职业学院。学校主校区位于哈尔滨市松北新区，分院位于小兴安岭南麓伊春市大箐山县，总占地面积69.26万平方米，现有在校生8300余人，专任教师264人，开设生态环保、食品药品、工程技术等7大类30多个专业，形成以生态环保类专业为特色的办学格局。

Founded in September 1953, the school's predecessor was the Northeast Forest Industry Experimental School affiliated to the former Ministry of Forestry of the People's Republic of China. Later, it merged with Northeast Forestry College (now Northeast Forestry University) twice and was once renamed as Dailing Branch of Northeast Forestry College, Heilongjiang Forestry College, etc. In April 2004, Heilongjiang Vocational Institute of Ecological Engineering was formally established. The main campus of the school is located in Songbei New District, Harbin, and the branch campus is located in Daqingshan County, Yichun City, at the southern foot of the Xiaoxing'an Mountains, with a total area of 692,600 square meters. Currently, there are more than 8,300 students and 264 full-time teachers. The school offers more than 30 majors in 7 categories including ecological environmental protection, food and medicine, and engineering technology, forming a school-running pattern featuring ecological environmental protection majors.

办学69年来，学校已为林业及生态建设行业和社会培养高素质、应用型各级各类专业技术人才和管理干部8万余名，被誉为“绿色人才的摇篮”和“生态文明建设人才培养基地”。学校多次受到国家教育部、国家林草局、黑龙江省委省政府及省教育厅等部门的表彰奖励，现有全国优秀教师、省级教学名师等知名专家学者30余人，省级教学团队2个，校内外实习实训基地310余个。

Over the 69 years of running the school, it has cultivated more than 80,000 high-quality, applied professional and technical talents and management cadres at all levels for the forestry and ecological construction industry and society, and is known as the "cradle of green talents" and "talent training base for ecological civilization construction". The school has been commended and rewarded by the Ministry of Education, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and Government, and the Provincial Department of Education for many times. It currently has more than 30 well-known experts and scholars including national excellent teachers and provincial teaching masters, 2 provincial teaching teams, and more than 310 internal and external internship and training bases.
