河南科技职业大学（简称河职大）是经国家教育部批准设立的全国首批民办非营利性本科职业大学，始建于1981年，位于河南省周口市川汇区文昌大道东段6号。学校占地2200多亩，建筑面积77万多平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值2.5亿多元，图书310多万册，全日制在校生2.4万多人。校园环境优美，亭台相望、湖石相依，自然与人文和谐交融，是莘莘学子理想的求学之地。

Henan Vocational University of Science and Technology (HVUST) is one of the first national private non-profit undergraduate vocational universities approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1981, it is located at No. 6 East Wenchang Avenue, Chuanhui District, Zhoukou City, Henan Province. The university covers an area of over 2,200 mu, with a building area of more than 770,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is over 250 million yuan, with more than 3.1 million books in its collection, and over 24,000 full-time students. The campus is beautiful, with pavilions, lakes and rocks harmoniously blending nature and humanity, making it an ideal place for students to pursue their studies.

学校秉承“厚德博学、求实创新”校训，坚持“工科为主、重视实践、爱心办学”特色，形成以工学为主，工、管、艺、教、经等多学科协调发展的专业格局。现有医学院、信息工程学院等10个院部，涵盖智能装备制造、电子信息、医药卫生等7个专业大类的46个本专科专业，其中国家和省级骨干专业、一流本科专业等共24个。师资力量雄厚，专任教师1401人，其中硕士及以上学位教师703人，双师型教师745人，享受国务院特殊津贴者1人。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practicality and Innovation", the university insists on the characteristics of "focusing on engineering, emphasizing practice, and办学 with love", forming a professional pattern with engineering as the main focus and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as engineering, management, art, education and economics. It currently has 10 colleges and departments including the School of Medicine and the School of Information Engineering, covering 46 undergraduate and specialized programs in 7 major categories such as intelligent equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and medicine and health. Among them, there are 24 national and provincial key majors, first-class undergraduate majors, etc. The faculty is strong, with 1,401 full-time teachers, including 703 teachers with master's degree or above, 745 double-qualified teachers, and 1 person enjoying special government allowances from the State Council.

学校注重实践教学，建有225个校内实验实训室和188个校外实习实训基地，实验实训课开出率100%，积极推行“1+X”证书制度，学生双证率达98%。近三年，师生在国家和省级技能大赛上获奖600多项，科研成果丰硕，获授权专利68项，完成省市级科研项目1648项。学校先后荣获“全国职业教育先进单位”“国家级高技能人才培训基地”等数十项荣誉，毕业生就业率连续保持在95%以上，为中原经济区发展培养了大批高层次技术技能人才。

The university attaches great importance to practical teaching, with 225 on-campus laboratories and training rooms and 188 off-campus internship and training bases, with a 100% rate of experimental and practical training courses. It actively promotes the "1+X" certificate system, with the double certificate rate of students reaching 98%. In the past three years, teachers and students have won more than 600 awards in national and provincial skill competitions, with fruitful scientific research achievements, including 68 authorized patents and 1,648 provincial and municipal scientific research projects completed. The university has successively won dozens of honors such as "National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education" and "National High-skilled Talent Training Base". The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for a long time, cultivating a large number of high-level technical and skilled talents for the development of the Central Plains Economic Zone.
