哈尔滨商业大学始建于1952年，是中国第一所多科性商业大学，经教育部批准更名为哈尔滨商业大学。学校以商科为特色，涵盖经济学、管理学、工学、法学、文学、理学、医学、艺术学等八大学科门类，是黑龙江省重点建设的十所高水平大学之一。

Harbin University of Commerce was founded in 1952 and is the first multidisciplinary commercial university in China. It was renamed Harbin University of Commerce with the approval of the Ministry of Education. With business as its characteristic, the university covers eight disciplines including economics, management, engineering, law, literature, science, medicine, and art, and is one of the ten key high-level universities in Heilongjiang Province.
