哈尔滨石油学院（HIP）是经国家教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，2024年获批硕士学位授予立项建设单位。学校创建于2003年，前身为东北石油大学华瑞学院，2012年转设为独立建制高校。校园占地89.06万平方米，现有全日制在校生1.2万余人，开设35个本科专业，工科占比达68.57%，形成以工学为主，经、管、文、艺、教多学科协调发展的学科布局。机械电子工程为省级重点建设学科，石油工程、物联网工程入选省级一流本科专业，重点专业就业率连续10年超95%，累计培养应用型人才近5万人。

Harbin Institute of Petroleum (HIP) is a full-time general undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of China, and was approved as a master's degree-granting project construction unit in 2024. Founded in 2003 as the Huarui College of Northeast Petroleum University, it was transformed into an independent university in 2012. Covering an area of 890,600 square meters, the university has over 12,000 full-time students and offers 35 undergraduate programs, with engineering disciplines accounting for 68.57%. It has formed a discipline layout dominated by engineering, coordinated with economics, management, literature, art, and education. Mechanical and Electronic Engineering is a provincial key construction discipline, while Petroleum Engineering and Internet of Things Engineering are listed as provincial first-class undergraduate programs. The employment rate of key majors has exceeded 95% for 10 consecutive years, having cultivated nearly 50,000 applied talents.

学校构建"教授名师引领、行业权威把舵、双师型导师驱动"的师资矩阵，专任教师中教授、副教授占比44.74%，专业教师持有华为工程师、奇安信网络安全工程师等顶级行业认证。建有智能装备研发、网络安全攻防靶场等实践平台，与哈电集团、中石油等企业共建6个产业学院及4个科研所，形成"教室直通岗位、教案同步产业"的育人模式。马克思主义学院党支部入选全国党建工作样板支部，学校获评黑龙江省师德先进集体、文明校园。

The university has built a faculty matrix led by renowned professors, guided by industry authorities, and driven by double-qualified tutors. Among full-time teachers, 44.74% are professors or associate professors, and professional teachers hold top industry certifications such as Huawei Engineers and Qi An Xin Cybersecurity Engineers. It has established practical platforms including intelligent equipment research and development labs and cybersecurity attack-defense ranges, and jointly built 6 industrial colleges and 4 research institutes with enterprises like Harbin Electric Group and PetroChina. This forms an educational model where "classrooms directly connect to workplaces and teaching plans synchronize with industrial updates". The Party Branch of the School of Marxism was selected as a national model branch for party building work, and the university has been awarded the Heilongjiang Provincial Advanced Collective for Teacher Ethics and Civilized Campus.
