淮阴师范学院坐落于风景旖旎、人文荟萃的国家历史文化名城、周恩来总理故乡江苏省淮安市，是一所以教师教育为主要特色，具有硕士学位授予权的省属高等学府。学校创建于1958年，2021年获批硕士学位授予单位，2025年获批江苏省一流应用型本科高校建设单位、博士学位授予立项建设单位。

Huaiyin Normal University is located in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, a national historical and cultural city with beautiful scenery and a gathering of humanities, and the hometown of Premier Zhou Enlai. It is a provincial higher education institution with teacher education as its main feature and the right to grant master's degrees. Founded in 1958, the university was approved as a master's degree-granting unit in 2021, and in 2025, it was approved as a construction unit for Jiangsu first-class applied undergraduate universities and a project construction unit for doctoral degree granting.

学校现有全日制本科生、硕士研究生2万余人；专任教师1200余人，其中具有正高级职称近200人，博士学位670余人，博（硕）士生导师582人。建有省部共建协同创新中心、省级重点实验室等省部级以上科研平台32个；拥有马克思主义理论、教育学等7个十四五省重点学科，数学、化学、工程科学3个学科进入ESI全球排名1%。

The university currently has more than 20,000 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates; more than 1,200 full-time teachers, including nearly 200 with senior professional titles, more than 670 with doctoral degrees, and 582 doctoral (master's) supervisors. It has 32 scientific research platforms above the provincial and ministerial level, such as the provincial and ministerial co-construction collaborative innovation center and provincial key laboratories; it has 7 key disciplines of the 14th Five-Year Plan in Jiangsu Province, including Marxist Theory and Education, and 3 disciplines of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Engineering Science have entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings.
