杭州师范大学钱江学院成立于1999年8月，是经国家教育部和浙江省人民政府批准设立，由杭州师范大学举办的综合性全日制本科独立学院。学院位于浙江省省会杭州市钱塘区下沙高教园区，毗邻钱塘江，校园占地906.46亩，校舍面积18万多平方米，图书馆总藏书90余万册，办学条件齐备，环境优雅。

Hangzhou Normal University Qianjiang College, founded in August 1999, is an independent comprehensive full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, sponsored by Hangzhou Normal University. Located in Xiasha Higher Education Park, Qiantang District, Hangzhou (the capital of Zhejiang Province), adjacent to the Qiantang River, the college covers an area of 906.46 mu with over 180,000 square meters of school buildings and a library collection of more than 900,000 books, providing well-equipped and elegant educational environment.

学院秉承“尊师爱生、崇术重教”传统，坚持“以人为本、质量立校、特色发展”理念，开设35个本科专业，涵盖理、工、医、经、管、法、文、教、艺九大学科门类，现有全日制在校生9000余人，专任教师460余人，其中硕士及以上学位教师占86%，高级职称教师占48%，并与杭州师范大学共享近200名师资。

Adhering to the tradition of "respecting teachers and caring for students, valuing skills and education" and the philosophy of "people-oriented, quality-based, and characteristic development", the college offers 35 undergraduate majors covering nine disciplines including science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, law, literature, education, and art. It currently has over 9,000 full-time students and more than 460 full-time teachers, among whom 86% hold master's degrees or above, 48% have senior professional titles, and nearly 200 teachers are shared with Hangzhou Normal University.

学院构建“1.5+1.5+1”人才培养模式（前1.5年通识与学科基础课程，中1.5年专业课程，后1年综合实践），拥有浙江省重点（新兴特色）专业3个、一流学科2个，杭州市重点学科1个、重点实验室1个，注重产学研合作与创新创业教育，已向社会输送毕业生2.4万余名，致力于建设省内一流、全国知名的应用型本科院校。

The college has developed a "1.5+1.5+1" talent cultivation model (1.5 years of general education and discipline foundation courses, 1.5 years of professional courses, and 1 year of comprehensive practice). It boasts 3 provincial key (emerging characteristic) majors, 2 provincial first-class disciplines, 1 municipal key discipline, and 1 municipal key laboratory. Focusing on industry-university-research cooperation and innovation entrepreneurship education, the college has graduated over 24,000 students and is committed to building a first-class application-oriented undergraduate college in Zhejiang and well-known nationwide.
