国际基督教大学（International Christian University，简称ICU）是一所位于日本东京都三鹰市的私立综合性大学，由日本基督教会与美国基督教会于1949年合议创办，1953年正式开学。学校以国际化、精英教育和博雅教育为核心特色，入选日本“超级国际化大学计划”，并在2015年被《福布斯》评为亚洲10所博雅教育大学之一。其创立初衷是培养具有国际视野和跨文化交流能力的人才，推动全球和平与发展。

International Christian University (ICU) is a private comprehensive university located in Mitaka City, Tokyo, Japan. It was jointly founded by the Japanese Christian Church and the American Christian Church in 1949 and officially opened in 1953. With internationalization, elite education, and liberal arts education as its core features, the university is selected into Japan's "Super Global University Project" and was named one of Asia's top 10 liberal arts universities by Forbes in 2015. Its founding mission is to cultivate talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills to promote global peace and development.

学校采用日英双语教学，实行小规模精英教育模式，师生比约为1:18。本科阶段仅设教养学部，学生前两年接受通识教育，涵盖人文科学、社会科学、自然科学等多个领域，大三后选择专业方向，热门领域包括国际关系、比较文化、公共政策、生物学等。国际化程度极高，35.3%的教授来自海外，与杜克大学、宾夕法尼亚大学、剑桥大学等世界顶尖学府保持密切学术交流与交换合作。

The university adopts Japanese-English bilingual teaching and implements a small-scale elite education model with a student-faculty ratio of approximately 1:18. At the undergraduate level, there is only one College of Liberal Arts. Students receive general education in the first two years, covering humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and other fields, and choose their major方向 in the third year. Popular fields include international relations, comparative culture, public policy, and biology. It has a high degree of internationalization, with 35.3% of professors from overseas, and maintains close academic exchanges and exchange partnerships with world-class universities such as Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Cambridge.

在2025年泰晤士高等教育日本大学排行榜中，ICU综合排名位列所有大学第11位，私立大学第1位，教育充实度指标居全日本第一，国际性指标排名第三。学校以培养“能以世界为舞台，对人类和平事业做出实践性贡献的人才”为目标，注重批判性思维、跨学科能力及日英双语应用能力的培养，毕业生在国际组织、跨国企业、学术机构等领域表现突出。

In the 2025 Times Higher Education Japan University Rankings, ICU ranked 11th among all universities and 1st among private universities in Japan, with the highest score in the educational enrichment index and 3rd in the internationalization index nationwide. Aiming to cultivate "talents who can make practical contributions to the cause of human peace on the world stage", the university focuses on developing critical thinking, interdisciplinary abilities, and Japanese-English bilingual application skills. Its graduates excel in international organizations, multinational corporations, academic institutions, and other fields.
