景德镇学院是一所多科性全日制公办本科院校，创建于1977年，坐落于全国历史文化名城、世界闻名的千年瓷都——江西省景德镇市。学校前身为景德镇教育学院，历经改制与合并，2013年升格为本科院校并更名为景德镇学院。学校现有规划用地面积2025亩，一期建设用地1031亩，建筑面积约35万平方米，二期建设已启动。设有11个二级学院，34个本科专业，涵盖工学、理学、文学、管理学、艺术学等8大学科门类，在校学生14700余人，教职工820余人，其中专任教师620余人，双师双能型教师占比达30%，省级以上高层次人才100余人。

Jingdezhen University is a comprehensive full-time public undergraduate institution founded in 1977, located in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, a national historical and cultural city and world-famous "Millennium Porcelain Capital". Formerly known as Jingdezhen Institute of Education, it was restructured and merged before being upgraded to an undergraduate university and renamed Jingdezhen University in 2013. The university has a planned area of 2025 mu, with 1031 mu of Phase I construction land and a building area of approximately 350,000 square meters, while Phase II construction has been initiated. It comprises 11 secondary colleges offering 34 undergraduate programs covering 8 disciplines including engineering, science, literature, management, and art. The university has over 14,700 students and more than 820 faculty members, including over 620 full-time teachers, with "double-qualified" teachers accounting for 30% and more than 100 high-level talents at or above the provincial level.

学校坚持“地方性、应用型、开放式”办学定位，以陶瓷艺术和师范教育为特色，构建了多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。拥有各类图书300万册，教学仪器设备总值近1.13亿元，校内外实习实训基地400余个。近年来荣获全国绿化先进集体、江西省文明单位、全国无偿献血促进奖等多项荣誉，培养了包括党的二十大代表、全国模范教师在内的大批优秀人才，被誉为“陶瓷艺术大师的摇篮、中小学教师的孵化基地”。

Adhering to the orientation of "local, application-oriented, and open" education, the university features ceramic art and teacher education, establishing a coordinated disciplinary system with multi-disciplinary development. It boasts over 3 million books, teaching instruments and equipment worth nearly 113 million yuan, and more than 400 internal and external internship and training bases. In recent years, it has won numerous honors such as National Advanced Collective for Greening, Jiangxi Provincial Civilized Unit, and National Award for Promoting Voluntary Blood Donation. The university has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents, including deputies to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and national model teachers, and is praised as "the cradle of ceramic art masters and the incubator of primary and secondary school teachers".
