晋城职业技术学院是经山西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制综合类高职院校,于2001年5月由原晋城市教育学院、晋城师范、晋城市中等专业学校、晋城市文化艺术学校合并组建,是晋城市唯一一所公办全日制高职院校。学院秉承“诚明乐业”校训,践行“为人正、为学实、为技勤、为艺精、为美和”的“五为”办学理念,致力于培养高素质技术技能人才。
Jincheng Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shanxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Established in May 2001 through the merger of the former Jincheng Institute of Education, Jincheng Normal School, Jincheng Secondary Professional School, and Jincheng School of Culture and Art, it is the only public full-time higher vocational college in Jincheng City. Adhering to the school motto of "Integrity, Insight, and Dedication to Career" and practicing the "Five Principles" educational philosophy of "Integrity in Conduct, Earnestness in Learning, Diligence in Skills, Excellence in Art, and Harmony in Aesthetics", the college is committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents.
学院现有丹河新城新校区(占地438亩,建筑面积19.5万平方米)和凤台街校区(占地274亩),教职工516人,专任教师360人(其中博士9人、硕士289人,高级职称131人)。开设35个大专专业,其中国家级骨干专业3个、省级特色专业3个,全日制在校生9000余人。先后荣获山西省优质高等职业院校建设单位、省级现代学徒制试点单位、全国国防教育特色学校等称号,2023年在金平果中国高职高专院校竞争力排行榜中位列全省第7名。
The college currently has two campuses: the new Danhe New City Campus (covering 438 mu with a building area of 195,000 square meters) and the Fengtai Street Campus (covering 274 mu). It has 516 faculty members, including 360 full-time teachers (9 with doctoral degrees, 289 with master's degrees, and 131 with senior professional titles). The college offers 35 junior college programs, including 3 national-level key majors and 3 provincial-level characteristic majors, with over 9,000 full-time students. It has successively been awarded titles such as "Shanxi Provincial High-Quality Higher Vocational College Construction Unit", "Provincial Modern Apprenticeship Pilot Unit", and "National Defense Education Characteristic School". In 2023, it ranked 7th in Shanxi Province in the Golden Apple China Higher Vocational College Competitiveness Ranking.
