建东职业技术学院是由江苏省人民政府批准建立、教育部备案、从事高等教育的民办全日制普通高校。学院是中国民航局备案的航空安全员资质训练单位、江苏省终身教育学分银行合作联盟成员单位，先后被评为江苏省平安校园、江苏省‘艺工双通型’人才培养创新实验基地、常州首批退役军人教育培训实习实训示范基地。

Jiandong Vocational and Technical College is a private full-time general higher education institution approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and engaged in higher education. The college is an aviation security officer qualification training unit registered with the Civil Aviation Administration of China and a member unit of the Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank Cooperation Alliance. It has been successively rated as a Safe Campus in Jiangsu Province, an Innovation Experimental Base for 'Art and Engineering Dual-skilled' Talent Cultivation in Jiangsu Province, and the first demonstration base for education and training practice of retired military personnel in Changzhou.

学院坐落于长三角腹地——江苏常州，位于常州市国家级高新技术开发区内，南临沪宁高速公路，毗邻常州高铁站。校区规划占地34万平方米（504亩），总建筑面积45.36万平方米，图书馆藏书30万册。现设有航空服务学院、智能制造与计算机学院、经贸管理学院、艺术与建筑学院等六个二级学院，开设机械制造、民航管理、计算机应用技术、大数据与会计、建筑工程、视觉传达设计等31个专业。

The college is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, in the national-level high-tech development zone of Changzhou. It is adjacent to the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway in the south and Changzhou High-speed Railway Station. The campus covers an area of 340,000 square meters (504 mu), with a total construction area of 453,600 square meters and a library collection of 300,000 books. Currently, it has six secondary colleges including the School of Aviation Services, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Computer Science, the School of Economics and Trade Management, and the School of Art and Architecture, offering 31 majors such as mechanical manufacturing, civil aviation management, computer application technology, big data and accounting, construction engineering, and visual communication design.
