江海职业技术学院坐落于著名历史文化名城扬州古运河畔，南临长江，东依大运河及中国大运河博物馆、三湾公园，人文底蕴深厚，是1999年经江苏省人民政府批准、教育部备案，具有独立颁发专科文凭资格的民办全日制高职院校。现有全日制在校生近12000人，学校占地1040余亩，校舍22万平方米，由专任教师、校外教师、行业导师组成雄厚的师资队伍800余人，其中双师型教师123人。

Jianghai Vocational and Technical College is located by the ancient canal in Yangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city. It faces the Yangtze River to the south and is adjacent to the Grand Canal, the China Grand Canal Museum, and Sanwan Park to the east, boasting profound cultural heritage. Approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 1999, it is a private full-time higher vocational college qualified to independently issue junior college diplomas. Currently, it has nearly 12,000 full-time students, covering an area of over 1,040 mu with 220,000 square meters of school buildings. The college has a strong teaching staff of more than 800 people, including full-time teachers, external teachers, and industry mentors, among whom 123 are "double-qualified" teachers.

The college offers 36 enrollment majors, with 9 university-level high-level key majors, 1 provincial-level characteristic major, and 1 provincial-level high-level professional construction group for higher vocational education.
