吉林师范大学是吉林省重点大学，坐落在吉林省四平市，是吉林省高中骨干教师培养中心、高校师资培训中心和教师教育研究中心。学校始建于1958年，前身为四平师范专科学校，1973年升格为四平师范学院，1983年更名为吉林师范大学。学校以教师教育为特色，涵盖文、理、工、教、管、法、经、艺等多学科协调发展，形成了从本科生到博士生的完整人才培养体系。

Jilin Normal University is a key university in Jilin Province, located in Siping City, Jilin Province. It is the training center for key high school teachers, the training center for college teachers, and the research center for teacher education in Jilin Province. Founded in 1958, the university was formerly known as Siping Teachers College, upgraded to Siping Teachers University in 1973, and renamed Jilin Normal University in 1983. With teacher education as its characteristic, the university covers the coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as liberal arts, science, engineering, education, management, law, economics, and art, forming a complete talent training system from undergraduates to doctoral students.

学校现有21个学院，67个本科专业，拥有6个一级学科博士学位授权点，22个一级学科硕士学位授权点，16个硕士专业学位授权点。校园占地面积100万平方米，建筑面积68万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值4.5亿元，图书馆藏书280万册。学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工1600余人，其中高级职称人员600余人，博士生导师100余人，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家30余人。

The university currently has 21 colleges and 67 undergraduate majors, with 6 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 22 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points, and 16 master's professional degree authorization points. The campus covers an area of 1 million square meters, with a building area of 680,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 450 million yuan, and the library has a collection of 2.8 million books. The university has a strong faculty, with more than 1,600 faculty members, including more than 600 with senior professional titles, more than 100 doctoral supervisors, and more than 30 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council.
