吉林建筑科技学院是一所经国家教育部批准设置的以本科教育为主、兼有硕士研究生联合培养，面向全国招生的民办普通高等学校。学校始建于2000年6月，曾用名吉林建筑大学城建学院，2017年被批准为吉林省硕士学位授权立项建设单位，2019年经国家教育部批准更名为吉林建筑科技学院。

Jilin University of Architecture and Technology is a private ordinary higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, mainly offering undergraduate education with joint training of postgraduate students, enrolling students nationwide. Founded in June 2000, the university was formerly known as the Urban Construction College of Jilin Jianzhu University. In 2017, it was approved as a master's degree authorization project construction unit in Jilin Province, and in 2019, it was renamed Jilin University of Architecture and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

学校坐落于吉林省长春市，校园占地总面积80余万平方米，教学科研仪器设备值达1.36亿元，馆藏纸质文献总量98.3万册。设有12个学院，开设本科专业45个，分布于“工、管、艺、文、法”五大学科门类，现有教师743人，具有高级专业技术职务的教师占50.6%，全日制在校学生近14000人。

Located in Changchun, Jilin Province, the university covers a total campus area of more than 800,000 square meters, with teaching and research equipment worth 136 million yuan and a total of 983,000 paper documents in its collection. It has 12 colleges, offering 45 undergraduate majors covering five disciplines of "engineering, management, art, literature, and law". There are 743 teachers, among whom 50.6% have senior professional and technical positions, and nearly 14,000 full-time students.

近年来，学校获得吉林省转型发展示范高校、吉林省本科人才培养改革示范高校、吉林省党建工作示范高校等多项荣誉，2025年校友会中国民办大学排名（Ⅰ类）位列第11名（吉林省第1名），软科中国民办高校排名主榜第25名（吉林省理工类第1名），在学科建设、人才培养、产教融合等方面成效显著。

In recent years, the university has won many honors such as Jilin Provincial Demonstration University for Transformation and Development, Jilin Provincial Demonstration University for Undergraduate Talent Cultivation Reform, and Jilin Provincial Demonstration University for Party Building Work. In 2025, it ranked 11th in the Alumni Association China Private University Rankings (Category Ⅰ) (1st in Jilin Province) and 25th in the main list of the Soft Science China Private University Rankings (1st in Jilin Province for science and engineering), achieving remarkable results in discipline construction, talent cultivation, and industry-education integration.
