吉林建筑大学是吉林省人民政府与住房和城乡建设部共建高校,以工为主,土木建筑为特色,涵盖理、工、管、法、艺、经等多学科,是吉林省重点建设高校。学校始建于1956年,前身为长春城市建设工程学校,1960年升格为本科院校并定名吉林建筑工程学院,2013年更名为吉林建筑大学。作为新中国首批建筑类专门学校之一,学校是吉林省城乡基本建设领域高级专门人才培养基地、科技研发基地及产业发展决策咨询与技术创新服务基地。
Jilin Jianzhu University is a university jointly built by the People's Government of Jilin Province and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It focuses on engineering, with civil engineering and architecture as its features, covering multiple disciplines such as science, engineering, management, law, art, and economics. It is a key construction university in Jilin Province. Founded in 1956, the university was formerly known as Changchun Urban Construction Engineering School. In 1960, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and named Jilin Institute of Architectural Engineering. In 2013, it was renamed Jilin Jianzhu University. As one of the first batch of specialized architectural schools in New China, it serves as a base for cultivating senior professionals, a base for scientific and technological research and development, and a base for industrial development decision-making consultation and technological innovation services in the field of urban and rural infrastructure construction in Jilin Province.
