济南工程职业技术学院是2004年经山东省人民政府批准成立的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，由原济南纺织工业学校、济南市建筑工程学校、济南市财经学校、济南市公用事业学校、济南交通技师学院五所国家和省级重点中专合并组建，已走过60余年的办学历程。学院始终秉持“做有灵魂的职业教育”的办学定位，面向济南都市圈、山东半岛城市群及黄河重大国家战略，培养高素质、创新型技术技能人才，是山东省首批特色名校、山东省优质高职院校，荣获全国创新创业典型经验高校、全国职业院校学生管理50强等百余项国家级、省级称号，在山东省办学质量考核中连续四年评定为A级。

Jinan Engineering Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province in 2004. It was formed by the merger of five national and provincial key secondary schools: the former Jinan Textile Industry School, Jinan Construction Engineering School, Jinan Finance and Economics School, Jinan Public Utilities School, and Jinan Traffic Technician College, with a history of more than 60 years. Adhering to the educational orientation of "conducting soulful vocational education", the college cultivates high-quality, innovative technical and skilled talents for the Jinan metropolitan circle, Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration, and the major national strategy of the Yellow River. It is among the first batch of characteristic prestigious schools and high-quality higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province, and has won over 100 national and provincial titles such as "National Model Higher Vocational College for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" and "Top 50 National Vocational Colleges in Student Management". It has been rated Grade A for four consecutive years in Shandong Province's school-running quality assessment.

学院占地面积1200亩，建筑面积34万平方米，固定资产总值14.4亿元，下设12个二级学院，面向全国8个省市招生，全日制在校生14000余人。紧密对接区域产业发展需求，打造智能建造、工业互联网、数字商贸等10个专业群，开设49个专业（含4个“3+2”本科专业），拥有国家级骨干专业3个、央财支持专业2个，省级特色专业7个，建成国家级生产实训基地1个、国家级教学资源库4个，荣获国家级教学成果奖4项。师资队伍中硕士以上学位占75%，高级职称教师占50.7%，“双师型”教师占80%，拥有享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家、全国模范教师等国家级人才，形成了一支结构合理、素质优良的教学团队。

The college covers an area of 1200 mu (80 hectares) with a building area of 340,000 square meters and a total fixed asset value of 1.44 billion yuan. It has 12 secondary colleges, enrolls students from 8 provinces and cities nationwide, and has over 14,000 full-time students. Closely aligned with regional industrial development needs, it has built 10 professional groups including intelligent construction, industrial internet, and digital commerce, offering 49 majors (including 4 "3+2" undergraduate programs). The college boasts 3 national key majors, 2 majors supported by the central finance, 7 provincial characteristic majors, 1 national production training base, and 4 national teaching resource databases, and has won 4 national teaching achievement awards. Among the faculty, 75% hold master's degrees or above, 50.7% are senior professional title holders, and 80% are "double-qualified" teachers. It also has national-level talents such as experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and national model teachers, forming a well-structured and high-quality teaching team.
