Jinan Engineering Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province in 2004. It was formed by the merger of five national and provincial key secondary schools: the former Jinan Textile Industry School, Jinan Construction Engineering School, Jinan Finance and Economics School, Jinan Public Utilities School, and Jinan Traffic Technician College, with a history of more than 60 years. The college covers an area of 1200 mu (80 hectares) with a building area of 340,000 square meters and a total fixed asset value of 1.44 billion yuan. It has 12 secondary colleges, enrolls students from 8 provinces and cities nationwide, and has over 14,000 full-time students.
