金山职业技术学院是经江苏省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，由国企投资兴办，实行“公办民助”模式，学生毕业后颁发教育部电子注册的普通高等学校毕业文凭。学院坐落于经济发达、风景秀美的江苏镇江扬中，这里是首批国家级生态示范区、“中国工程电气岛”和省新型工业化产业示范基地，县域经济创新力位居全国前列。学院秉持“自强、明志、立德、力行”的校训，构建知识、素质、能力三位一体的培养体系，注重学生通用技能与专业技能的提升，实施“双证书”制度，并通过“专转本”等渠道为学生搭建升学立交桥。

Jinshan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Invested by state-owned enterprises, it operates under a "publicly-run with private assistance" model, issuing electronically registered diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Education upon graduation. Located in Yangzhong, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu—a nationally recognized ecological demonstration zone, "China's Engineering Electrical Island," and a provincial new industrialization base—the college benefits from a thriving economy and scenic surroundings. 学院规划面积1000亩，一期已建成400亩，设有4个系25个专业，拥有67个校内实验实训室和120多个校外实训基地。校园布局合理、设施完善，先后获评“江苏省安全文明校园”“园林式单位”等称号。学院深化校企合作，与南通四建、无锡小天鹅、大全集团等30余家企业共建人才培养方案，推行工学交替模式，毕业生因实践能力突出广受用人单位好评。同时，学院与日本、韩国等高校建立友好合作关系，为学生打造国际化升学通道。

With a planned area of 1,000 mu (400 mu completed in Phase I), the college comprises 4 departments offering 25 majors, supported by 67 on-campus laboratories and over 120 off-campus training bases. Its well-designed campus has earned titles like "Jiangsu Provincial Safe and Civilized Campus" and "Garden-style Unit." The college strengthens industry-education integration through partnerships with over 30 enterprises, including Nantong Sijian Group and Wuxi Little Swan, implementing work-study alternation programs. Graduates are highly regarded by employers for their strong practical skills. Additionally, international exchange programs with universities in Japan and South Korea provide global education opportunities for students.
