江西航空职业技术学院是一所全日制民办非营利普通高等职业学院，前身为创建于1956年的洪都职工业余大学，历经多次更名与发展，2004年经江西省政府批准改设为全日制高等职业院校，2020年办学性质变更为非营利性民办。学校坐落于江西省南昌市，现有昌南、抚州等校区，总占地面积1560亩，是中国人民解放军定向培养士官院校、国家高技能人才培养基地，以航空国防特色为核心，形成“三航一弹一核”（航空制造、航空维修、航空服务、导弹维修、核技术应用）的专业格局。

Jiangxi Aviation Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private non-profit ordinary higher vocational college. Its predecessor was Hongdu Staff and Workers' Amateur University founded in 1956. After several name changes and developments, it was approved by the Jiangxi Provincial Government to be transformed into a full-time higher vocational college in 2004, and its nature was changed to non-profit private in 2020. Located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, the college has campuses including Changnan and Fuzhou, covering a total area of 1,560 mu. It is a directional training sergeant academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and a national high-skilled talent training base, with aviation and national defense characteristics as the core, forming a professional pattern of "Three Aviation, One Missile and One Nuclear" (aviation manufacturing, aviation maintenance, aviation services, missile maintenance, and nuclear technology application).

学校师资力量深厚，强五飞机总设计师陆孝彭院士、K8飞机总设计师石屏院士曾先后担任领导职务，现由中国航空学会与地方政府共建高质量技能人才培养基地，聘请甘晓华院士等组成专家委员会。学校紧密对接航空产业需求，开设飞机机电设备维修、飞行器数字化制造技术、导弹维修技术等特色专业，拥有模拟飞行训练器、飞机发动机实训室等先进教学设施，与洪都航空工业集团、上海飞机制造有限公司等企业建立深度合作，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，为国防军工和航空产业培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college has a profound faculty. Academician Lu Xiaopeng, chief designer of the Q-5 aircraft, and Academician Shi Ping, chief designer of the K8 aircraft, have successively held leadership positions. Now, it has established a high-quality skilled talent training base in cooperation with the Chinese Aeronautical Society and local governments, and invited Academician Gan Xiaohua to form an expert committee. Closely meeting the needs of the aviation industry, the college offers characteristic majors such as aircraft electromechanical equipment maintenance, aircraft digital manufacturing technology, and missile maintenance technology. It has advanced teaching facilities including flight simulators and aircraft engine training rooms, and has established in-depth cooperation with enterprises such as Hongdu Aviation Industry Group and Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for national defense, military industry and aviation industry.
