江西师范大学科学技术学院创办于2001年5月，是经教育部和江西省人民政府批准设立的全日制普通高校独立学院，位于江西省共青城市科教城，占地面积800亩，校舍建筑面积20余万平方米。学院秉承江西师范大学优良办学传统，以“质量立校、人才兴校、特色强校、文化铸校”为办学理念，砥砺出“持中秉正、知行合一”的院训，实行董事会领导、院长负责、党委监督、教授治教的管理运行机制。

Jiangxi Normal University Science and Technology College was founded in May 2001. It is a full-time ordinary college independent college approved by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province. Located in the Science and Education City of Gongqingcheng City, Jiangxi Province, it covers an area of 800 mu with a school building area of more than 200,000 square meters. Adhering to the fine办学 tradition of Jiangxi Normal University, the college takes "quality-based school, talent-strengthening school, characteristic school, and culture-casting school" as its school-running philosophy, and has forged the school motto of "Upholding Integrity and Unity of Knowledge and Action". It implements the management and operation mechanism of board leadership, president responsibility, party committee supervision, and professor governance.

学院以本科教育为主体，融教育学、经济学、艺术学、文学、法学、管理学、理学、工学八大学科为一体，现有12个系部、43个本科专业，5个联合培养专业硕士点和1个校级研究中心，全日制本科在校生7200余人。师资队伍结构合理，现有专任教师400余名，副教授以上教师占60%，讲师以上教师占90%，100%具有硕士以上学历，共享江西师范大学本部优质教育资源。

The college focuses on undergraduate education, integrating eight disciplines including education, economics, art, literature, law, management, science, and engineering. It currently has 12 departments, 43 undergraduate majors, 5 joint training professional master's programs, and 1 university-level research center, with more than 7,200 full-time undergraduate students. The teaching staff has a reasonable structure, with more than 400 full-time teachers, 60% of whom are associate professors or above, 90% are lecturers or above, 100% have master's degrees or above, and share high-quality educational resources from the headquarters of Jiangxi Normal University.

学院高度重视人才培养质量，积极推行多样化、个性化人才培养模式，构建“德位、学位、职位、品位”四位一体课程体系，注重理论与实践结合，在省内外建有40多个教育实习和实践实训基地。自创办以来，生源质量、就业率、考研率等稳居全省同类高校前列，多次荣获江西省高校毕业生就业工作评估优秀高校，2023年在中国校友会网全国独立学院排名中进入前20强，蝉联江西省第1，晋升为四星级独立学院。

The college attaches great importance to the quality of talent cultivation, actively promotes diversified and personalized talent training models, constructs a "four-in-one" curriculum system of "morality, degree, position, and taste", focuses on the combination of theory and practice, and has established more than 40 educational internships and practical training bases inside and outside the province. Since its establishment, the quality of students, employment rate, postgraduate entrance examination rate, etc. have remained at the forefront of similar universities in the province. It has won the Excellent University in the Employment Evaluation of College Graduates in Jiangxi Province for many times. In 2023, it entered the top 20 in the ranking of national independent colleges by China Alumni Network, ranking first in Jiangxi Province for consecutive years and being promoted to a four-star independent college.
