锦州医科大学是一所以医学为主，多学科协调发展的省属普通高等院校，坐落于渤海之滨的锦州。学校前身为1946年在吉林省洮南市成立的辽吉军区卫生学校，历经多次调整与发展，于2016年更名为锦州医科大学。学校始终坚持立德树人根本任务，致力于培养高素质医药卫生人才，为国家和地方医疗卫生事业发展作出了重要贡献。

Jinzhou Medical University is a provincial public higher education institution focusing on medicine with coordinated development of multiple disciplines, located in Jinzhou on the coast of the Bohai Sea. The university originated from the Liaoji Military Region Health School established in Taonan City, Jilin Province in 1946. After several adjustments and developments, it was renamed Jinzhou Medical University in 2016. Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the university is committed to cultivating high-quality medical and health talents and has made important contributions to the development of national and local medical and health undertakings.

学校设有24个教学单位，涵盖医学、工学、农学、理学、管理学、文学、教育学等7个学科门类，拥有临床医学、基础医学、药学等多个省级重点学科。学校现有全日制在校生16000余人，教职工4800余人，其中具有高级职称的教师占比超过40%，形成了一支结构合理、素质优良的师资队伍。

The university has 24 teaching units, covering 7 disciplines including medicine, engineering, agriculture, science, management, literature, and education, with multiple provincial key disciplines such as clinical medicine, basic medicine, and pharmacy. Currently, it has over 16,000 full-time students and more than 4,800 faculty members, among whom over 40% have senior professional titles, forming a faculty team with reasonable structure and excellent quality.

学校注重教学质量与科研创新，拥有5所直属附属医院和11所非直属附属医院，为学生提供了优质的临床教学和实践平台。近年来，学校承担了国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金等各级各类科研项目数百项，在医学教育、临床研究、药物研发等领域取得了一系列重要成果。

The university attaches importance to teaching quality and scientific research innovation, with 5 directly affiliated hospitals and 11 non-directly affiliated hospitals, providing students with high-quality clinical teaching and practice platforms. In recent years, it has undertaken hundreds of scientific research projects at all levels, including the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Foundation, and has achieved a series of important results in medical education, clinical research, drug research and development, and other fields.
