冀中职业学院是经河北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，由保定市政府举办，坐落于文化名城定州市，享有“千年书院，百年师范”的美誉。学校始建于1916年，前身为直隶定县女子师范学校，历经百年发展，于2006年7月升格为现校名，至今已形成涵盖文、理、工、管、商、教育等多学科的职业教育体系。

Jizhong Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Hebei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Sponsored by the Baoding Municipal Government, it is located in the cultural city of Dingzhou, known as "a thousand-year-old academy with a century of normal education". Founded in 1916 as Zhili Dingxian Women's Normal School, it has undergone a century of development and was upgraded to its current name in July 2006. Today, it has formed a vocational education system covering multiple disciplines including arts, science, engineering, management, commerce, and education.

学院现有南北两个校区，南校区位于定州市刀枪街3号，北校区位于定州市北门街，总占地面积约154亩，建筑面积8.4万平方米。设有教育系、经济管理系、信息工程系、机电工程系、建筑艺术系和公共与思政教学部等五系一部，开设学前教育、大数据与会计、计算机网络技术、建筑工程技术等24个高职专业，现有教职工322人，其中硕士及以上学历教师91人，双师型教师占比达85%，在校生规模6000余人。

The college has two campuses (South and North). The South Campus is located at No. 3 Daoqiang Street, Dingzhou, and the North Campus at Beimen Street, Dingzhou, covering a total area of approximately 154 mu (about 102,666 square meters) with a building area of 84,000 square meters. It consists of five departments and one teaching section: the Department of Education, Department of Economic Management, Department of Information Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Department of Architectural Art, and the Public and Ideological and Political Teaching Department. It offers 24 higher vocational majors such as Preschool Education, Big Data and Accounting, Computer Network Technology, and Architectural Engineering Technology. The college has 322 faculty members, including 91 with master's degree or above, and 85% of them are "double-qualified" teachers. The student enrollment exceeds 6,000.

学校注重产教融合与实践教学，建有完善的校内外实训基地，与三一重工、长城汽车、保定剑桥教育集团等100余家企业建立稳定合作关系，先后荣获“全国高职高专支持科研工作先进单位”“河北省旅游科研协作基地”等称号，是中德先进职业教育合作项目首批试点院校及教育部1+X证书制度试点考核站点，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college emphasizes industry-education integration and practical teaching, with well-equipped on-campus and off-campus training bases. It has established stable partnerships with over 100 enterprises, including Sany Heavy Industry, Great Wall Motors, and Baoding Cambridge Education Group. It has been awarded titles such as "Advanced Unit Supporting Scientific Research in National Higher Vocational Colleges" and "Hebei Provincial Tourism Research Cooperation Base". As one of the first pilot institutions for the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project and a pilot assessment site for the Ministry of Education's 1+X certificate system, it has cultivated a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
