潞安职业技术学院隶属于潞安化工集团，前身为创办于1958年的潞安煤矿技工学校，2004年3月经山西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案正式成立。作为教育部第一批现代学徒制试点单位，学院于2021年8月挂牌成立山西省高职院校首家应急管理学院，坐落于山西省长治市襄垣县潞安大街168号，校园占地面积298亩。

Lu'an Vocational and Technical College is affiliated to Lu'an Chemical Group. Its predecessor was Lu'an Coal Mine Technical School founded in 1958. It was officially established in March 2004 with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education. As one of the first modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education, the college established the first emergency management college among higher vocational colleges in Shanxi Province in August 2021. It is located at No. 168 Lu'an Street, Xiangyuan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, covering an area of 298 mu.

学院现有专任教师296人，其中本科以上学历253人（含硕士、博士89人），高级职称教师占比突出。开设34个专业，其中国家级现代学徒制试点专业1个，省级骨干专业（煤化工技术）和高水平重点专业（矿山机电与智能装备）各1个，建有4个省级高水平实训基地，形成了以工科为主、特色鲜明的专业体系。

The college has 296 full-time teachers, including 253 with bachelor's degree or above (89 with master's or doctoral degrees), and a prominent proportion of senior title teachers. It offers 34 majors, including 1 national modern apprenticeship pilot major, 1 provincial key major (coal chemical technology) and 1 high-level key major (mine electromechanical and intelligent equipment). There are 4 provincial high-level training bases, forming an engineering-oriented professional system with distinctive characteristics.

学院坚持"质量立校、特色强校、人才兴校"理念，构建了学历教育与职业培训双轮驱动的办学模式，拥有国家一级煤矿安全培训资质和山西省二级非煤安全培训资质，年培训量超20万人天。近年来专升本达线率保持75%以上，就业率稳定在85%以上，为能源行业和区域经济发展培养了大批技术技能人才。

Adhering to the concept of "quality-based, characteristic-strengthened and talent-developed school", the college has built a dual-drive school-running mode of academic education and vocational training. It has national first-level coal mine safety training qualification and Shanxi provincial second-level non-coal safety training qualification, with an annual training volume of over 200,000 person-days. In recent years, the admission rate for undergraduate upgrading has remained above 75%, and the employment rate has stabilized above 85%, cultivating a large number of technical and skilled talents for the energy industry and regional economic development.
