辽宁体育运动职业技术学院于1985年经辽宁省政府批准成立，1999年经省教育厅批准培养全日制普通高等专科层次学生，是辽宁省内培养优秀运动员及高水平体育专业人才的体育院校，国标代码12591。学院坐落于沈阳市南湖湖畔，占地15万平方米，拥有教学楼、现代化运动场馆、学生公寓及餐饮中心等设施，可容纳近2000人住校学习和训练。

Liaoning Vocational and Technical College of Sports was approved by the Liaoning Provincial Government in 1985 and began enrolling full-time junior college students with the approval of the Provincial Department of Education in 1999. As a sports college in Liaoning Province, it specializes in cultivating outstanding athletes and high-level sports professionals, with the national standard code 12591. Located by the scenic Nanhu Lake in Shenyang, the college covers an area of 150,000 square meters, equipped with teaching buildings, modern sports venues, student apartments, and dining centers, accommodating nearly 2,000 students for residential study and training.

学院以“团结、拼搏、创新、奉献、文明、求实”为校训，重视素质教育与实践能力培养，设有社会体育、运动训练等专业，拥有9个运动项目24支运动队。建校以来培养出14位奥运会冠军、56位世界冠军，被国家体育总局誉为“金牌工厂、冠军摇篮”，多次获省委省政府“突出贡献单位”称号。

With the school motto of "Unity, Struggle, Innovation, Dedication, Civilization, and Practicality", the college emphasizes quality education and practical ability training. It offers majors such as Social Sports and Sports Training, and has 24 sports teams across 9 disciplines. Since its establishment, it has cultivated 14 Olympic champions and 56 world champions, earning the reputation of "Gold Medal Factory and Champion Cradle" by the General Administration of Sport of China, and has been repeatedly awarded the title of "Outstanding Contribution Unit" by the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Government.
