辽宁对外经贸学院是由职工捐资举办的非营利性民办普通本科高校，是辽宁省第一所民办本科大学，坐落在渤海之滨、历史名城大连旅顺。学校始建于1964年10月，时名辽宁省对外贸易局职业学校，历经多次发展变迁，2005年3月教育部批准建立本科层次全日制普通高等学校并定名辽宁对外经贸学院，隶属于辽宁省教育厅管理。

Liaoning University of International Business and Economics is a non-profit private ordinary undergraduate university funded by employees, and the first private undergraduate university in Liaoning Province. It is located in Lvshun, Dalian, a famous historical city on the coast of the Bohai Sea. Founded in October 1964 as Liaoning Provincial Foreign Trade Bureau Vocational School, the university has undergone several development and changes. In March 2005, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of a full-time ordinary higher education institution at the undergraduate level and named it Liaoning University of International Business and Economics, which is under the management of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education.

学校占地面积56.3万平方米，建筑面积32.5万平方米，在校生11719人。图书馆藏书296.1万册，各类实验室122个。现有专任教师692人，其中具有高级职称的392人，二级教授2人，博士生导师2人，硕士生导师75人。拥有全国优秀教师1人，国务院特贴专家1人，辽宁省优秀专家1人、教学名师12人等一批高层次人才。

The university covers an area of 563,000 square meters with a building area of 325,000 square meters and has 11,719 students. The library has a collection of 2.961 million books and 122 laboratories of various types. There are 692 full-time teachers, including 392 with senior professional titles, 2 second-level professors, 2 doctoral supervisors, and 75 master supervisors. It has a group of high-level talents such as 1 national outstanding teacher, 1 expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 1 outstanding expert in Liaoning Province, and 12 teaching masters in Liaoning Province.

学校目前拥有4个学科门类，11个一级学科，22个本科专业，下设6个二级学院15个系，面向全国31个省（自治区、直辖市）招生。国际经济与贸易专业、会展经济与管理专业是国家级一流本科专业建设点，其中国际经济与贸易专业还是国家特色专业建设点等多项省级以上专业建设项目；12个专业为省级一流本科专业建设点。荣获国家级一流课程2门，国家级规划教材3部；省级以上教学成果奖42项，省级一流课程81门，省级优秀教材17部。

At present, the university has 4 disciplines, 11 first-level disciplines, 22 undergraduate majors, with 6 secondary colleges and 15 departments, enrolling students from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) across the country. International Economics and Trade, and Convention and Exhibition Economy and Management are national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, among which International Economics and Trade is also a national characteristic major construction site and many other provincial and above professional construction projects; 12 majors are provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites. It has won 2 national first-class courses and 3 national planning textbooks; 42 teaching achievement awards at or above the provincial level, 81 provincial first-class courses, and 17 provincial excellent textbooks.

学校先后与国家商务部等政府、企事业单位、行业协会建立了深度的产学研合作关系，为学生的实习和就业搭建了良好平台。与美国、英国、俄罗斯、日本、西班牙等10余个国家的近30所大学和教育机构建立了友好合作关系，开展了9个联合培养双学位项目和18个其他国际合作交流项目。

The university has established in-depth industry-university-research cooperation relationships with the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, other government departments, enterprises, institutions, and industry associations, building a good platform for students' internships and employment. It has established friendly cooperative relations with nearly 30 universities and educational institutions in more than 10 countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, and Spain, and carried out 9 joint training dual-degree programs and 18 other international cooperation and exchange programs.
